    • The present invention concerns a method for controlling the transfer of signals representatives of a group of data in a wireless telecommunication network comprising a first telecommunication device linked through plural second telecommunication devices through-the wireless network, the first telecommunication device comprising at least two antennas, at least one of the second telecommunication devices comprising at least two antennas. The first telecommunication device calculates at least two information, each information being representative of the achievable link conditions between the first telecommunication device and one second telecommunication device, determines which second telecommunication device is involved in the transfer of the group of data through the link according to the determined information and determines at least a weighting vector to be used for the transfer of the group of data, the elements of the weighting vector weighting the signals representatives of the group of data transferred through at least two antennas.

    • Precision in adjustment of filtering characteristics of a high frequency device is improved by providing a high frequency device comprising a first filter, a frequency converter, and a second filter. The high frequency device comprises a high frequency filter for extracting signal components in a predetermined frequency band from an input signal; a frequency converter for converting frequency of the signal components extracted by the high frequency filter; and an intermediate frequency filter for extracting signal components in a predetermined frequency band from the signal components, the frequency of which is converted by the frequency converter. The high frequency device further comprises a bypass circuit provided in parallel to the intermediate frequency filter downstream of the high frequency filter; and a switching mechanism including a switching circuit for switching connection of a signal path downstream of the high frequency filter to either the intermediate frequency filter or the bypass circuit. Because the intermediate frequency filter can be in a disconnected state while the high frequency device is in adjustment operation, effects of the intermediate frequency filter on adjustment can be suppressed.

    • A solar battery indicator apparatus utilizing a capacitor for accumulating electrical power generated by the solar battery and light emitting diodes for emitting light on the basis of the electrical power supplied from the capacitor. An indicator body makes a prescribed indication on its front surface through the use of optical fibers. Several bundles of optical fibers are utilized with each bundle being associated with a plurality of optical fibers having one of their ends disposed to face an associated one of the light emitting diodes and the other end of each of the bundles of fibers being associated with a particular indicator. The configuration of optical fiber bundles utilize a control portion for controlling light emitting states of respective individual light emitting diodes. In another aspect a bundle of optical fibers have their connection to a light emitting diode such that the light emitting diode and the connection is positioned substantially in the center portion of a sign indicator controlled by the light emitting diode so that the curvature of the individual optical fibers is within a range for optimal light transmission.
