    • A system and method to determine directional measurements for a drilling tool that at times rotates and at other times does not rotate. The method includes making a first set of measurements when the apparatus is rotating, making a second set of measurements when the apparatus is not rotating, and combining the first and second sets of measurements to obtain the directional measurements. The system includes a transmitter-receiver pair wherein the transmitter has a magnetic dipole moment parallel to a longitudinal axis of the apparatus and the receiver has a magnetic dipole moment that is tilted relative to the longitudinal axis of the apparatus, an electronics module to excite the transmitter and detect a receiver signal to make a first and second set of measurements when the apparatus is rotating and not rotating, and a processor to combine the first and second sets of measurements to obtain the directional measurements.

    • A method, system, server and terminal for configuring service parameters are provided in the embodiment of the present invention. A parameter server sets the profile data that includes service parameters of operators; a terminal obtains the service parameters from the profile data through a parameter server and configures the service parameters by the received service parameters. The users are not required to manually configure the service parameters. Moreover, after the terminal has switched from one operator's service to another operator's service, the users are not required to either manually configure a new server's address or obtain the service parameters of another operator from a new server. So the present invention simplifies service parameter configuration and improves user experience.

    • An electronic assembly includes a printed circuit board mounted with an electronic component, a heat sink, and a clip securing the heat sink on the printed circuit board to enable the heat sink to have an intimate contact with the electronic component. Height of each of the clasps is larger than that of each of the receiving holes of the engaging portions. The clasps of the clip lock with the engaging portions by manipulating the operating members.
