    • A movable contact piece support structure for a seesaw switch including guide portions formed in walls of the seesaw switch and slits formed by cutting the movable contact piece and bending back a pair of flaps to make a pair of bent portions. The size and shape of the guide portions and the angle at which the bent portions are bent are chosen so that the movable contact piece rests on the guide portions and on a central contact with the bent portions in contact with the guide portions. The guide portions are further shaped such that bent portions slide smoothly on the guide portions as the movable contact piece rocks back and forth between on and off positions of the seesaw switch.

    • The magnetic resonance imaging system applies a uniform static magnetic field and a gradient magnetic field to an object and further applies an excitation rotating magnetic field to cause magnetic resonance phenomena in the object to detect the induced magnetic resonance signals and then to obtain image data by processing the magnetic resonance signals. The system has a power controller for controlling the transmission power in a transmitter for transmitting the excitation rotating field. The system further has a transmission controller for controlling the power controller in response to the magnetic resonance signal which is received by the receiver from the object. The transmission controller controls the power controller to sequentially change the transmission power and detects the transmission power at which the maximum magnetic resonance signal is obtained in response to the reception signal by the receiver when the excitation rotating field is applied to the object, thereby controlling the power controller in accordance with the detected data. A fraction of the detected maximum power is utilized to generate the excitation field to thereby rotate the spin angle of the nuclei by an amount less than 90.degree., and preferably 45.degree., so as to reduce data collection time.

A movable receiving table is disposed on the receiving side of the second conveyor to be movable back and forth in parallel to the second conveyor and is moved forward in synchronization with the first conveyor. The movable receiving table is further movable between a raised position in which it lifts the vehicle riding over the ride-over table before the vehicle reaches the delivery side end of the ride-over table and a lowered position in which it lowers the vehicle passing over the ride-over table onto the second conveyor.

    • A foldable pneumatic tire including an annular tread and sidewalls each extending from both ends of the tread and terminating in bead portions, the sidewalls adapted to be folded axially inwardly toward each other to be collapsed within the tread. The foldable tire located in a mold for vulcanization comprises the bead portions each extending perpendicular to a rotating axis of the tire and having a height 1.2 to 2.0 times of that of a flange of a rim, and each the sidewall consisting of first and second sidewalls making an angle with each other between 140.degree. and 160.degree., and an outer surface of the second sidewall radially inwardly sloping at an angle of 0.degree. to 5.degree. to the rotating axis. The tire according to the invention is superior in foldability and can be attached to the rim with ease and is greatly useful for a spare tire for automobiles.
