摘要： An apparatus and associated method of operation is provided for vapor deposition of a sublimated source material, such as CdTe, as a thin film on discrete photovoltaic (PV) module substrates that are conveyed in a continuous, non-stop manner through the apparatus. The apparatus includes a deposition head configured for receipt and sublimation of the source material. The deposition head has a distribution plate at a defined distance above a horizontal conveyance plane of an upper surface of the substrates conveyed through a deposition area within the apparatus. The sublimated source material moves through the distribution plate and deposits onto the upper surface of the substrates as they are conveyed through the deposition area. The substrates move into and out of the deposition area through entry and exit slots that are defined by transversely extending entrance and exit seals. The seals are disposed at a gap distance above the upper surface of the substrates that is less than the distance or spacing between the upper surface of the substrates and the distribution plate. The seals have a ratio of longitudinal length (in the direction of conveyance of the substrates) to gap distance of from about 10:1 to about 100:1.

摘要： An apparatus and related process are provided for vapor deposition of a sublimated source material as a thin film on a photovoltaic (PV) module substrate. A receptacle is disposed within a vacuum head chamber and is configured for receipt of a source material. A heated distribution manifold is disposed below the receptacle and includes a plurality of passages defined therethrough. The receptacle is indirectly heated by the distribution manifold to a degree sufficient to sublimate source material within the receptacle. A molybdenum distribution plate is disposed below the distribution manifold and at a defined distance above a horizontal plane of a substrate conveyed through the apparatus. The molybdenum distribution plate includes a pattern of holes therethrough that further distribute the sublimated source material passing through the distribution manifold onto the upper surface of the underlying substrate. The molybdenum distribution plate includes greater than about 75% by weight molybdenum.

Potential customers are allowed to log-on to a website operated by a retailer, distributor, and manufacturer. An HTML product page includes navigation buttons that link to other HTML product pages. Each page further includes JPG or GIF type pictures that allow the shopper to see a particular product corresponding to a presently displayed HTML product page. A group of alternate-view buttons link to other pictures of the same product that show variations or different perspectives. A set of four navigation buttons permit the shopper to hyperlink to HTML product pages. Once the link is taken, a graphic is presented. The list of hyperlinks includes only those HTML product pages that represent available combinations. A “price” and an “order” hypertext allow the shopper to see the product price for the selected item and to order it electronically.

摘要： A lightweight radio/CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a case and frontal interface formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case and frontal interface are of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. The PCB architecture is bifurcated into a first board carrying common circuit components in a surface mount configuration suitable for high volume production, and a second board carrying application specific circuit components in a wave soldered stick mount configuration. The major components and subassemblies are self-fixturing during the final assembly process, eliminating the need for dedicated tools, fixtures and assembly equipment. The major components and subassemblies self-interconnect by integral guide and connection features effecting “slide lock” and “snap lock” self-interconnection. The radio architecture includes improved push buttons employing 4-bar living hinge linkage and front loaded decorative trim buttons.

摘要： A bleed valve assembly for discharging bleed air into a gas turbine engine bypass plenum includes a bleed flow duct, a bleed valve, and a flow deflector. The bleed flow duct is contoured such that it delivers uniformly flowing bleed air to the flow deflector when the bleed valve is in the open position. The flow deflector has a plurality of openings formed therein. Each opening fluidly communicates the bleed air flow passage with the bypass plenum and is oriented at a discharge angle such that bleed air is discharged from each opening in a direction that does not have a vector component in the direction in which air is flowing in the bypass plenum.

摘要： This invention relates to the housing of a hybrid electro-mechanical transmission consisting of park pawl system located in the end cover portion of the transmission housing. The end cover portion is configured to cover the park pawl system and allow access to the components of the park pawl system for assembly or service even as the end cover portion remains attached to the main housing of the transmission. An access cover and seal for the access opening in the end cover portion is also provided. The access opening is designed to be small enough so that the end cover portion can also provides structural support to a main housing portion during operation of the transmission. A method of selectively providing access to a park pawl system located in the end cover portion of a transmission housing is also provided.

摘要： In a brokering system for items of software or data, submission inputs are made to a database. Each submission input includes a descriptive data set in relation to a unit of data or software, together with an address field. The brokering system loads the submission input to the database and copies it to temporary stores identified in the address field. Each temporary data store is allocated to a respective index management interface and is viewable to that index management interface only. Inputs can be made at the index management interface to transfer the descriptive data sets received to an index accessible by a plurality of search interfaces, or simply to delete the descriptive data set from the temporary data store.
