    • A magnetic random access memory with write and read circuits using magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) devices wherein MTJs are arranged at cross points of word lines and read bit lines to form memory cells. After write bit lines and read bit lines are arranged parallel to each other, current bypass paths are formed allowing current to bypass the side and bottom of the MTJ. Thus, an electric field having intensity enough to change the magnetization direction of the MTJ, is applied only to each selected cell. In a write operation, the magnetization direction of a free layer in the MTJ is formed to be parallel or antiparallel to the magnetization direction of a pinned ferromagnetic layer by the current passing through the word line and the current bypass path.

    • A wing type ultrasonic transducer is free from a reduction in the output power and has one ultrasonic generator. This ultrasonic generator has piezoelectric ceramic materials with two countermasses respectively coupled to the outside ends of the piezoelectric ceramic materials. A rod-like resonator is coaxially coupled to the outside end of each of the countermasses and is used to emit ultrasonic waves to a liquid in a radial direction. An immersible housing covers the ultrasonic generator so as to accomplish a water tightness of the ultrasonic generator. The rod-like resonator may be a solid resonator or hollow resonator. In addition, the rod-like resonator is integral times as long as a half-wavelength (&lgr;/2) at an operating resonant frequency.

    • A method and an apparatus for managing call resources, which can contribute to an improvement in the performance and stability of systems to which the method and apparatus are applied. Call processors are connected to a shared library via a resource manager which is internally provided with a resource management table for storing permanent processor ID numbers of the call processors and resource allocation information. The call manager controls access to the shared library in association with requests of the call processors for an allocation or release of the resources in such a manner that the access is given for only the stored permanent process ID's. When a request is made to release call resources currently in use, the call manager determines whether or not the process ID of a call process associated with the request for the release coincides with the process ID of the call process currently using the stored call resources. When the process ID's do not coincide with each other, the call manager rejects the request for the release and notifies the operator of such a rejection.
