摘要： A connector includes an electric wire and a housing having an electric wire accommodating portion which is opened upward and which is configured to hold the electric wire. A folded portion folded back to one side toward a cover of the electric wire is provided at a tip end part of a contact portion of a conductor core wire of the electric wire. A groove that is opened forward and extends in a front-rear direction of the housing is formed on a front end surface located at a front end of the wire accommodating portion of the housing. The folded portion is engaged to the groove so that the electric wire is held by the housing.

The female connector has a female terminal, a female terminal accommodation portion, and a female-side finger-touch prevention portion. The female-side finger-touch prevention portion is arranged in an entrance of the female terminal accommodation portion, and is configured to generate a force for biasing toward a center of the opening in a state where the opening is enlarged in diameter with insertion of the male terminal. The male connector has a male terminal including a recess in an intermediate portion of an electrical contact portion. The recess of the male terminal is formed in a portion where the opening of the female-side finger-touch prevention portion can be fitted into the recess at a position before the male terminal contacts the female terminal and where the opening can be remove from the recess at a position after the male terminal contacts the female terminal.

By improving the structure of the existing high current DC single-input and single-output connector, the solution reduces the convergence box, saves a connection space, makes processing more convenient, and also reduces processing time.

A central support pole, such as for a Christmas tree is made in two parts joinable with an electrical and mechanical connector which joins the pole parts and simultaneously connects power or other circuits from one part to the other. The connector has two engaging sections and an outrigger platform which locates a connector off to the side of the poles but in alignment. Final alignment is obtained by a key and keyway in the connector parts.
