摘要： There is disclosed a process for the production of 1,4-bis-[3-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyloxy)-propyl]-diazepane which consists of first reacting 3-aminopropanol with acrylonitrile and subsequently reacting in aqueous solution with formaldehyde and hydrocyanic acid or with formaldehyde and an alkali cyanide in the presence of alkali hydrogen sulfite to form cyanomethyl-(2-cyano-ethyl)-(3-hydroxy-propyl)-amine; hydrogenating the thus obtained reaction product in the presence of a hydrogenating catalyst and ammonia to 1 (3-hydroxy-propyl)-1,4-diazepane and reacting the latter compound for example with 3-halogen propanol or with allyl alcohol and introducing two 3,4,5-trimethoxy-benzoyl groups into the thus obtained reaction product by esterification.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for preparing 3-ethylbenzophenone in a high purity which comprises the steps of alkylating benzene with ethylene with the aid of an alkylating catalyst to obtain an alkylated product composed mainly of unreacted benzene, ethylbenzene, polyethylbenzenes and heavier by-products; subjecting the alkylated product to distillation in order to recover therefrom a fraction which has a temperature range of boiling points within the range of 275.degree. to 310.degree. C. (in terms of atmospheric pressure); dehydrogenating the recovered fraction at a reaction temperature within the range of 200.degree. to 700.degree. C. in the presence of a dehydrogenating catalyst; oxidizing the dehydrogenated fraction in a liquid phase; and performing distillation to recover therefrom 3-ethylbenzophenone represented by the formula: ##STR1##

摘要： A slurry hydroconversion process is provided in which a catalyst precursor concentrate comprising an aqueous solution of phosphomolybdic acid and a heavy oil is contacted with hot hydrogen to vaporize the water from the concentrate. The resulting catalyst precursor concentrate is introduced into a hydrocarbonaceous chargestock and the resulting mixture is heated in the presence of added hydrogen to convert the phosphomolybdic acid to a solid molybdenum-containing catalyst. The resulting slurry is subjected to hydroconversion conditions.
