    • A universal three dimensional motor generator system is provided with magnets and permanent magnetic and/or electromagnetic windings on rotors and stator for compounding and multiplying the order of voltage or potential to or from a machine. Three rotating rotors mechanically interconnected through gears and coils are strategically positioned within a housing that allows the multiple input and/or output of single and/or three phases A/C, D/C or in combination. When input power is supplied to rotor one, rotor two and rotor three start rotating along with rotor one due to gear arrangement to generate/produce power which is fed back to rotor one. This generated/produced power can/will be utilize to supplement the input power to maintain the synchronous speed across the designed load or combined to increase the output rating of machine. The system allows multiple wiring configurations allowing each section of a rotor and stator configuration to operate independently or separately as a motor or generator, or in combination.

    • A polyphasic multi-coil generator includes a driveshaft, at least first and second rotors rigidly mounted on the driveshaft so as to simultaneously synchronously rotate with rotation of the driveshaft, and at least one stator sandwiched between the first and second rotors. The stator has an aperture through which the driveshaft is rotatably journalled. A stator array on the stator has an equally radially spaced-apart array of electrically conductive coils mounted to the stator in a first angular orientation about the driveshaft. The stator array is radially spaced apart about the driveshaft. The rotors and the stator lie in substantially parallel planes. The first and second rotors have, respectively, first and second rotor arrays. The first rotor array has a first equally radially spaced apart array of magnets radially spaced around the driveshaft at a first angular orientation relative to the driveshaft. The second rotor array having a second equally spaced apart array of magnets at a second angular orientation relative to the driveshaft. The first and second angular orientations are off-set by an angular offset so that the first and second rotor arrays are offset relative to one another.

    • A synchronous electric machine having a rotor member and a stator member having a stator core is provided. The electric machine further includes a main machine having a direct current (DC) rotor field winding mounted on the rotor member; and a dual (AC/DC) excitation system. The excitation system includes a rotatable polyphase armature winding in electrical communication with a rectifier assembly for conducting direct current to the rotor field winding of the main machine, and a plurality of DC salient poles and at least one alternating current (AC) salient pole both included in the stator core. A magnetic axis of respective AC field coils is disposed substantially in electromagnetic space-quadrature relation with respect to magnetic axes of adjacent DC field coils, wherein when the respective AC field coils are energized, an alternating current is induced in the polyphase armature winding for providing excitation to the main machine.

    • An apparatus for the control and alignment of a sensor on a moving vehicle is provided that includes a gimbal ball supported by an outer axis structure and adapted to pivot about an outer elevation axis and about an outer azimuth axis. The outer axis structure is mounted to a vehicle. An inner axis structure includes a cardan shaft that is provided in the ball and is used to support a payload. An inner elevation axis passes through the cardan shaft. The payload is moved about inner pitch inner roll and inner yaw axes over a limited range of motion by the use of a plurality of permanent magnet wide-gap motors that are disposed on the plane of the cardan shaft and maximally away from the yaw axis in the ball. The motors are adapted to each urge the payload to move in two perpendicular axes, depending upon the current that is applied through conductors which pass through a flux field. Control circuitry is used to energize the motors in any desired combination to produce motion in roll, pitch, or yaw.
