    • The present invention discloses an electrical receptacle terminal, comprising a contact portion being in electrical connection with a male terminal and a connecting portion being in electrical connection with an electrical cable, wherein the contact portion comprises: an housing having a bottom wall, a right wall, a left wall and a top wall; and an elastic contact member located in the housing and connected to the top wall of the housing through a suspension member. According to the present invention, the elastic contact member is suspended on the top wall of the housing through a suspension member. Since the suspension member that is connected to the elastic contact member itself exhibits certain flexibility, the elastic contact member and the male terminal inserted into the elastic contact member can do slight motion along with the suspension member in the front-rear direction. Thus, there is no relative slight motion between the elastic contact member and the male terminal inserted into the elastic contact member.

    • A connector is provided to reduce the transmission of shock from a housing to a HD via a connector in a notebook computer when the housing is dropped or hits something. The connector has a lower connector portion that is fixed to a print-circuit board and a guide axis, and an upper connector portion that is positioned above the lower connector portion with a vertical gap between itself and the lower connector portion to be slidable along the guide axis. To and from the front side of the upper connector portion, the terminal pins of the HD are inserted and pulled out. Upper ends of electric connection pins for the upper and lower rows can be inserted into pin insertion holes on the upper connector portion to be connected to the terminals of the HD, middle portion of the connection pins have U-shaped resilient portions, and lower ends protrude downward to the lower connector portion and are connected to the wires of the print-circuit board.

    • In an electronic control unit, a chassis is provided with a plate portion, and a circuit board is secured to a board-side attaching surface of the plate portion with a predetermined space secured relative to the plate portion. The chassis is further provided with a side wall protruding from the circumferential portion of the other surface of the plate portion and is mounted on a surface of a housing incorporating a device therein, with an end surface of the side wall being seated on the surface of the housing. A bus bar is fixed at a fixing portion thereof to the board-side attaching surface between the plate portion and the circuit board and is connected to a terminal of the device which is taken out from the housing. The bus bar is provided at plural free ends thereof with branch portions at which lead portions extend to be joined at end portions thereof to the circuit board. Elastic portions for reducing stresses which are developed at juncture portions of the lead portions to the circuit board as the temperature changes are formed between the base portion and the branch portions alongside the board-side attaching surface.
