    • The present invention relates to a shoulder strap retainer for garments, and more particularly to an undergarment strap retention device for retaining a shoulder strap of an undergarment beneath a shoulder strap of an outer garment. Retention of a strap of an undergarment, such as a bra, beneath the shoulder strap of an outer garment is accomplished by a pair of members which are magnetically attracted to each other. One of the members, an anchor assembly, is secured to a strap of an undergarment. The strap of the outer garment is positioned above and adjacent to the undergarment with the inner strap hidden from view. A decorative base plate is placed against the outer surface of the outer garment to engage the magnetic field produced by magnets positioned within the anchor assembly so the magnetic field pulls against the base plate to sandwich the cloth of the outer garment.

Based on the value of the integral of the angular velocities, a case in which an angular velocity gradually increases is distinguished from a case in which an angular velocity momentarily increases, so the airbag device effectively prevents malfunctions caused by an action other than falling over. Additionally, because it is unnecessary to intentionally delay determination to prevent malfunctions, the airbag can instantaneously be inflated.

    • A clothing strap tensioning device has an elastic member having a geometry generally defined by middle, left end, and right end portions, and bounded by upper, lower, left and right edges, and includes mechanical snaps or other releasable attachment mechanisms integrated into the left end and right end portions for enabling releasable attachment of the end portions to each other to form the elastic member into a loop. The tensioning device is looped around a pair of spaced vertical straps of a brassiere, such that the straps are drawn toward each other medially to prevent the straps from slipping down the shoulders of a wearer and to impart an upward lift to the wearer's breasts. The geometry of the elastic member also prevents twisting of the straps.

    • A stirrup for securing the end of a pant leg to the foot of a wearer. The stirrup has a base web and at least three arms projecting therefrom. Each arm has a fastener such as alligator jaws style, for engaging the pant leg at at least three points about its circumference, to avoid bunching. The base member may comprise an elastic fabric and may include a length adjusting mechanism. Alligator jaw fasteners may instead comprise buttons, hooks, hook and loop material, or snaps.     • The invention relates to an integral protective work clothing item comprising releasable integrated retaining elements and a digitally-activated retaining fastener. The inventive clothing item includes a harness and a retractable mechanism for securing a user to a standard lifeline. The item also comprises additional protective elements, such as a helmet, gloves and shoes which are connected thereto by means of respective elastic bands. Each of said bands is equipped with a hole for a fastener device that can only be released using a device designed for said purpose. The digitally-activated fastener comprises an electromagnet, a mobile discoidal part and a spring element. The cover of the fastener casing is provided with a hole and a tubular formation in which a pin or rod can be inserted and guided. In the operative position, the core of the electromagnet retains the rod in place and prevents the removal thereof, such that the casing and the rod are connected to one another and can only be released using the separate releasing device.
