摘要： A method for creating a formed-in-place seal on a fuel cell plate is disclosed. The method includes first dispensing a flowable seal material along a first sealing area of a fuel cell plate requiring the seal material. Next, a preformed template is located adjacent to at least a portion of the fuel cell plate, the template including predetermined apertures corresponding with a second sealing area of the plate, such that the apertures are coextensive with at least a portion of the first sealing area. Flowable seal material is applied into the apertures, and is then cured to a non-flowable state.

In some embodiments, the bus bar cell interconnect includes a first end electrically coupled with a first terminal of the first battery cell and a second end electrically coupled with a second terminal of the second battery cell. The bus bar cell interconnect also includes a curved portion disposed between the first end and the second end, and the bus bar cell interconnect is designed to distribute stress across the curved portion.

摘要： A battery module may include a housing, a plurality of battery cells disposed in the housing, a battery terminal extending from the battery module for coupling the battery module with electrical components in the vehicle, and a contactor. A voltage supplied to a relay coil in the contactor may generate a magnetic field to actuate a contactor switch. The battery module may also include a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed in the housing. The PCB may include a relay control circuit configured to control a current flowing across the relay coil, and the relay control circuit may operate in a pull-in mode to transition the contactor switch into a closed position and in a hold mode to maintain the contactor switch in the closed position.

摘要： A cell and method for simultaneous electrochemical and EPR measurements, including a disposable assembly, allows for a single device to produce data for both electroanalysis and EPR spectroscopy by generating a Redox reaction to form free radicals. The cell includes first and second hollow tubes, with the second tube being removably insertable into the first hollow tube. The interior of the first tube contains an insulating material, an electro-conductive material, and a wire connector extending from the electro-conductive material and out the first tube. The interior of the second tube contains an electrolytic solution, an analyte, a working electrode, and insulating material surrounding the working electrode. The second tube is inserted into the first tube and a reference electrode is placed into the second tube. The cell is placed within an EPR spectrometer. A potential is applied to the reference electrode to generate the Redox reaction of the analyte.

In the case of a small-sized fuel cell in which the thickness of the sheet body 11 is 20˜500 μm, the fuel electrode layer is greater in thickness than the solid electrolyte layer and the air electrode layer, and the area of the orthogonal projection of the plane portion 12a of each support member 12 is 1˜100 cm2, a ratio of a warpage of not more than 0.05 cm−1 on the sheet body with respect to the area of the orthogonal projection can be achieved at room temperature after the reduction process.
