    • A configurable clamp assembly for retaining pipe, conduit, cable bundles, waveguides and fiber optic cable that is designed for rapid installation without the need of pre-drilled holes or other mounting surface preparation. The clamp is formed by a saddle structure with integral rectangular flat base plate that receives interchangeable mounting pads and either a securing fastener or adhesive layer that secures the clamp to a mounting surface. A clamping yoke is hingedly secured to the saddle structure that is adapted to fold about the hinge to enclose and retain pipes, conduits or a Collar that engages an interchangeable Insert. The Insert is provided with various cross section geometries to secure waveguides, fiber optic cables and specially shaped tubing and is designed for insertion into the Collar for special applications. The materials selected for the Clamp components, Collar and Insert are selected for compatibility with the mounting environment and application needs. The clamping yoke is fastened with a locknut that engages a threaded retaining post, locking the yoke to the saddle. The locknut can be unfastened so that the yoke can be unlocked and opened without having to remove the mounting securing fastener, thus allowing for the addition of cables to a cable bundle or re-positioning pipe or conduits without disturbing the clamp assembly mounting.

    • A system of architectural moldings that form a passage for electrical wiring (30), coaxial cables, fiber optic cables, and associated devices used in transmitting low-voltage power, communication, and control signals. The architectural moldings may also be used to cover pre-existing wiring raceways and conduits. The system may be installed when constructing a building or when retrofitting an existing structure. The moldings can be removably mounted on the interior surfaces of residential and commercial structures in a manner that allows for easy removal and replacement of some or all of the moldings without disturbing the enclosed wiring and cables or harming finished surfaces. The moldings may be made of wood, polyurethane, fiberboard, or any material suitable for manufacturing pieces that resemble baseboards, cornice moldings, chair rails, casings, or other interior millwork. The system of moldings facilitates upgrades or modifications to the number, type, or placement of wiring, cables, outlets, jacks, or associated devices.

    • A duct molding for cables is provided for securely and efficiently mounting cables on the outside portion of a wall and/or ceiling. The subject duct molding includes an elongated tubular duct molding portion having a base and cover which can be at least partially disassociated from one another to provide access to the cables. Cables retaining clips are mounted on the base on the inside portion of the tubular duct molding. Each cable retaining clip includes a plurality of recesses formed by spring fingers which can removably retain individual cables. Expansion modules can be mounted in recesses of the cable retaining clip to expand the cable retaining capacity of the subject duct molding. Duct molding corner members are provided to enable mounting of the subject duct molding against sections of wall or ceiling that are angularly related to one another.

    • A conductor tape according to this disclosure comprises a first insulator layer having an adhesive for attaching the insulator to a wall surface. Conductors are attached to the opposite surface of said first insulation layer, and a second insulation layer overlaps the conductors. A metallic layer, such as a steel ribbon, is disposed over the second insulation layer. Spacers may be provided at regular intervals along the length of the tape to separate the conductors from the first insulator layer so that a connector lip of an electrical attachment may be wedged between the first insulator layer and the conductors to make electrical contact with the conductors to supply the attachment with electrical energy.
