    • Disclosed herein is a factory installed wiring guide that guides conductors into position for quality termination and crimp and which provides strain relief (support) for the wires or fibers and the outer sheath of the cable to create a quality cable or sub-cable assembly supporting termination at both ends of the cable. The wiring guide is sized to overcome obstacles and fit into conduits during network wiring installation. The wiring guide may be inserted into a cavity on the backside of a RJ45 female connector, completing the termination of a station cable to a RJ45 female jack. The wiring guide may be installed into a plastic housing creating a RJ45 male connector. The wiring guide may be utilized for multiple connections without damaging or compromising the wiring guide and without the need for cutting the wire from the sub-connector. The wiring guide supports universal attachment to either male or female RJ45 connectors.

    • An interface adapter for installing an asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) at a subscriber location is disclosed. The adapter includes a housing, a plurality of electrical conductors, a plug connector, and a receptacle connector. The electrical conductors extend into an interior region of the adapter through an entrance face of the housing. A first subset of the electrical conductors extends through a plug face of the housing and connect to a plug connector that is located in a region exterior to the housing. A second subset of the electrical conductors extends through the interior region and connect to a receptacle connector that is disposed on a receptacle face of the housing and accessible from the exterior region to receive a compatible plug connector. The adapter can also include one or more data terminals connected to a third subset of the electrical conductors. The conductors can be electrically coupled to an ADSL filter.

    • A coaxial connection assembly including a coaxial jack with a conductive outer shell with a first end and a second opposite end. The first end defines a front coaxial jack including an insulator mounted within an axial opening of the outer shell and a center conductor mounted within the insulator. The second end defines a rear coaxial jack including an insulator mounted within an axial opening of the outer shell and a center conductor mounted within the insulator. The center conductors of the front and rear jacks are electrically connected. The jack assembly is positioned within a longitudinal opening of a housing. The first end of the jack assembly extends through a first end of the housing and the second end of the jack assembly extends through a second end of the housing. The jack assembly may only be inserted within and removed from the housing through the first end. Rotation of the jack assembly within the opening is prevented. The housing includes a mounting flange extending away from the longitudinal opening adjacent the first end of the housing, with the mounting flange including an opening for receiving a fastener.

    • A shelf-type telecommunications device has a back wired board assembly mounted on a back of a shelf unit into which a plurality of plug-in units are inserted side by side. The back wired board assembly has a main back wired board to which at least one plug-in unit is connected and a sub back wired board to which at least one external cable is connected, the outer surface of the main back wired board and the inner surface of the sub back wired board opposing each other.     • A method and apparatus for improving the co-planarity between conductive structures exposed in an interface connector for a portable electronic device. The interface connector includes an elongate housing having a front surface and a bottom surface. The front surface is configured to be at least partially exposed at a peripheral portion of the portable electronic device. The front surface defines port openings in the elongate housing and the bottom surface defines plate openings therein. The plate openings are configured to receive and retain conductive structures and are configured to be at least partially exposed at the bottom surface of the elongate housing and at least partially exposed at the port openings to provide electrical interconnection to the portable electronic device. With this arrangement, the conductive structures in the interface connector are substantially co-planar with each other to provide improved and more reliable electrical interconnection with the portable electronic device.
