    • The present invention discloses a multifunctional constant temperature refrigerator comprising a compressor (1), an evaporator (16), a condenser (23), a cabinet (37), and freezing compartments (9), wherein the refrigerator further includes a closed cold air flow duct (15) and a negative thermal carrier assembly. The freezing compartments (9) are disposed in the cabinet (37). The closed cold air flow duct (15) is located at a back portion of the cabinet (37). The evaporator (16) is placed in the closed cold air flow duct (15). The negative thermal carrier assembly comprises a negative thermal carrier case (10) filled with negative thermal carriers and a heat pipe (12). The negative thermal carrier case (10) is disposed in each of the freezing compartments (9). A vaporization zone of the heat pipe (12) is extended into the negative thermal carrier case (10), and a condensation zone of the heat pipe (12) is extended into the closed cold air flow duct (15).

    • Disclosed is a temperature control method for a refrigerator which can minimize a deviation in refrigerant compartment temperature while minimizing the power consumption of the refrigerator. The temperature control method includes the steps of (A) comparing a sensed temperature of a freezing compartment with a predetermined maximum freezing compartment temperature and a predetermined minimum freezing compartment temperature, respectively, thereby controlling a compressor and a circulating fan to be turned on or off such that the sensed freezing compartment temperature is ranged between the predetermined maximum and minimum freezing temperatures, (B) comparing, following the step (A), a sensed temperature of a refrigerating compartment defined with a plurality of refrigerating chambers therein, with a predetermined maximum refrigerating compartment temperature and a predetermined minimum refrigerating compartment temperature, respectively, thereby controlling a damper to be opened or closed and the circulating fan to be turned on or off such that the sensed refrigerating compartment temperature is ranged between the predetermined maximum and minimum refrigerating temperatures, and (C) discharging cold air into at least one of the refrigerating chambers when the damper is closed, and the compressor and the circulating fan are turned on.

    • An apparatus for regulating flow of fluid received from a fluid source has an inner cylinder with inlet and outlet apertures, and an outer cylinder that also has inlet and outlet apertures. The inner cylinder is nested within the outer cylinder and rotatable with respect to the outer cylinder to control an amount of registration of the outlet apertures of the inner and outer cylinders to regulate flow of fluid through the apparatus. A motor is coupled to the inner cylinder by an axially symmetrical motor output shaft and mating recess of the inner cylinder, with crush ribs to eliminate axial play. The motor mounting arrangement is configured to mount the motor to the outer cylinder such that the motor floats within the motor mounting arrangement.

    • A flow-through rotary damper assembly providing highly efficient, essentially laminar fluid flow therethrough is provided. The rotary damper assembly includes a cylindrical outer body and a cylindrical inner body that are rotatable in relation to one another. The outer body defines apertures in relation to one another to allow fluid flow without requiring fluid direction change. The inner body defines a flow passage having inlet and outlet apertures that may be aligned with the apertures of the outer body to allow fluid flow therethrough, or may be rotated out of alignment to block fluid flow. The outer body includes an aperture on one end to allow fluid flow to a third compartment. The inner body also includes an end aperture that may be aligned therewith. The damper provides selectable fluid flow between each of the compartments depending on the relative position of the cylindrical inner body member.
