摘要： A fluid injector for a combustion engine has a tubular body which hydraulically connects a fluid inlet end of the injector to a fluid outlet end of the injector. A magnetic core is affixed inside the body, a solenoid is disposed on the outside of the body, and an axially moveable armature is disposed inside the body. A valve assembly controls an axial flow of fluid through the body. The valve assembly has a valve needle to be operated by the armature and a sleeve of diamagnetic material which is located radially between the armature and the body.

The system comprises a direct fuel injection system; a port fuel injection system; a pump for the direct injection system driven by a cam, wherein the pump can be activated and deactivated as a function of the activation of the direct injection system. Deactivating a pump when no fuel is pumped through it minimizes wear on pump components and increases efficiency.

摘要： A high-pressure fuel supply pump which has no probability of discontinuity of a thin film of fuel at a sliding portion even when the fuel is not needed to be compressed to a high pressure is obtained. Two low-pressure fuel ports are provided on the high-pressure fuel supply pump in addition to a high-pressure discharge port to a high-pressure fuel capacity chamber. One of the two low-pressure fuel ports is connected to a low-pressure fuel capacity chamber and remaining one is connected to a low-pressure fuel supply pump. Accordingly, the interior of the high-pressure fuel supply pump is always filled with fresh fuel even in a mode in which a high-pressure fuel injecting valve does not inject fuel and only a low-pressure fuel injection valve injects fuel, so that a temperature rise of a plunger and a cylinder is prevented and locking of the plunger and the cylinder can be prevented.
