摘要： The invention is a new family of phosphine compounds which can be used to make optically active metal coordination complex catalysts which combine high efficiency with a capability of performing rapidly (high efficiency and rapidly being established from Tables I, II and III as being greater than 75% efficiency and in times of not more than a few hours, preferably less than one hour) in water and thus avoiding solvent recovery and loss problems. The catalysts can be used in some alcoholic mediums as well as in some aqueous mediums. These catalysts are useful in catalytic asymmetric hydrogenation of some olefinic compounds. The new phosphine compounds are made from novel phosphine oxides.

摘要： The process according to the present invention comprises reacting diphenylchlorophosphine with ethylene oxide in a medium of an inert organic solvent. The resulting reaction mixture is heated in the presence of an alkyl ester of a haloacetic acid until the formation of an alkyl ester of diphenylphosphinylacetic acid. The latter, without separation and any additional purification, is reacted with hydrazine hydrate. The advantage of the process according to the present invention resides in a simplified technology, preparation of the desired product in a single stage at a high yield and the use of readily available commercially produced reagents.

摘要： Novel compounds, viz., tris(perfluoroalkyl)phosphine oxides have the following general formula ##STR1## where R.sub.F is a perfluoroalkyl of normal and iso-structure, having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms.The method of preparing said compounds consists in that trialkylphosphine oxide having the general formula R.sub.3 PO, where R = C.sub.8 -C.sub.8, is fluorinated electrochemically in a medium of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride; whenever trialkylphosphine oxides having the general formula R.sub.3 PO, where R = C.sub.5 - C.sub.8, are used as the starting material, they are first brominated in a medium of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, with subsequent isolation of the end product.The proposed novel compounds can be used as solvents for salts of rare earth elements and as complexing agents in the separation of valuable metals.
