    • A disassembling device for lens module which has a lens barrel and at least one optical component received in the lens barrel. The disassembling device includes a carrying platform, a cylindrical cutting tool, a cutting tool holder, and a driving device. The carrying platform includes a carrying surface for placement of the lens module. The cutting tool is arranged onto the cutting tool holder and is collinear with the lens barrel. A diameter of the cutting tool is greater than an inner diameter of the lens barrel and is less than an external diameter of the lens barrel. The driving device is connected to the cutting tool holder and moves the cutting tool holder along a central axis of the lens barrel, thereby the lens barrel can be cut and thinned by the cutting tool.

    • The present invention relates to a device to cut hair, fibers, or thin, flexible materials, comprising at least one retaining element (2) with a cylindrically formed interior that is suitable for immobilizing and potentially bundling in lengthwise direction a sample (1) to be cut, composed of a multiplicity of hairs, fibers, or thin, flexible materials, and a cutting device (3) that is suitable for cutting the sample that is immobilized and possibly bundled in lengthwise direction, in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the cylinder axis of the interior of the retaining element (2).     • This invention is a work carriage used with a cutting tool's table surface to make straight-line cuts. The device responds to the need for cutting a wide range of angles and positions on workpieces of different sizes and shapes more accurately, consistently, and safely. The invention consists of a main support which rides on a slide attached to the table surface's guide slot using a wedging action to fill the width of the guide slot. Clamps hold the workpiece to the main support along a t-shaped channel. Once set up, the main support moves precisely along the slide parallel to the guide slot and cutting plane. The main support also has threaded holes to attach workpiece stops and a fence, as needed, for making consistent cuts. A secondary support is used to provide the necessary support with a larger workpiece that has a center of mass beyond the main support.

    • An apparatus includes a conveyor, a programmable motion device, and a controller. The conveyor preferably includes actuatable rollers, and the programmable motion device is preferably a robotic arm. The controller operates the conveyor, a stopping rail, and a positioning rail to move and position a box in a cutting position relative to the robotic arm. The controller determines three dimension of the box and translates a programmed cut pattern to those determined dimensions. Based on the determined dimensions, the controller then operates the robotic arm to perform the programmed cut pattern in the box with the cutting element. The cutting element preferably has square blade so that each of the four blades can be used to cut a side of the box without having to rotate the cutting element during operation.
