摘要： A portable terminal includes a main housing having a display device and a second keypad positioned adjacently to the display device and a first keypad adapted to slide on the main housing to expose and hide at least a part of the display device. The first keypad overlaps the second keypad when the display device is exposed. The portable terminal having a movable keypad can expose a part of the movable keypad, which is adapted to slide, and to position it in such a manner that it overlaps another keypad when not used to provide a large screen. In addition, the movable keypad does not independently occupy a space on the terminal but can selectively overlap another keypad or the display device for making the terminal in a compact size.

摘要： This invention relates to dual roles of the pepper esterase protein as a biocontrol agent that can elicit defense reactions in plant cells and as direct fungal inhibitor that can block fungal penetration into plant cells. The possible enzymatic actions of the PepEST protein were elucidated in both fungus and plant to gain insight into the molecular mechanisms involved in the fungal resistance. Exogenously treated PepEST protein on the unripe pepper fruits decomposed the cuticles of the fruits and released glycerol and 9-octadecenamide. The treatment resulted in the massive generation of hydrogen peroxide in the unripe pepper fruit and simultaneously elicited the expression of defense-related genes in both absence and presence of the fungus.

The apparatus includes a first register unit including a plurality of registers that store a first bit string of predetermined lengths for generation of a hash function value; a second register unit storing input data in units of second bit strings with predetermined lengths, and sequentially outputting the second bit strings; a third register unit performing an operation on the first bit string of the plurality of registers and the second bit strings output from the second register unit so as to generate and store a third bit string, and updating first-bit string of the plurality of registers based on the third bit string; and an adding unit combining the first bit string stored in the first register unit, the first bit string of the third bit string stored in the third register unit, and the original initial values stored in the first register unit so as to obtain a hash function value. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the size of the apparatus and stably compute a hash function value at a high speed.

The metal nanoparticle sensor using the mixed ligand improves sensitivity and reaction speed with respect to an analyte, and selectivity with respect to various analytes, and a kind and a composition of a ligand of the mixed ligand constituting the metal nanoparticle sensor are adjusted to allow the high sensitivity nanoparticle sensor to be applied to the sensor array technology, thereby enabling a design of sensor properties as well as systematic access to a configuration of the sensor array the most efficient for the analytes.
