    • A plug connector (10) includes an insulative elongated housing (12) defining an elongated cavity (14) therein along the lengthwise direction. Two pairs of barbs (30, 32) are provided adjacent two opposite ends of each contact (24) wherein the front barbs (32) provide not only alignment but also retention, and the rear barbs (30) provide not only resistance to vibration occurring thereabout, but also preferred engagement with the shield plate for some specific grounding contact (24).
