摘要： A color image forming apparatus for superimposing images formed on a plurality of photoconductive elements onto a copy sheet includes a sensor for reading a transfer member and a positional deviation detecting pattern formed on the transfer member, a memory for storing information relating to an area having no roughness, such as a scar, on the transfer member, a detector for detecting the area having no roughness on the basis of a signal read by the sensor and for causing the memory to store the information relating to the area, and a color deviation corrector for correcting color deviation on the basis of the signal generated by the sensor reading the positional deviation detecting pattern. The positional deviation detecting pattern is formed at an area of the transfer member having no roughness.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for the production of a covered deep-drawn can, which comprises subjecting a metal sheet covered with a thermoplastic resin to drawing and deep-drawing. By heat-treating the formed covered deep-drawn can at a temperature higher than the glass transition point of the thermoplastic resin covering but lower than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin covering, the corrosion resistance, heat resistance and denting resistance of the can are improved, and the adhesion of the resin covering to the metal sheet and the heat resistance of the resin covering to the metal sheet and the heat resistance of the resin covering are improved without degradation of film characteristics inherently possessed by the resin covering.

Controlled by the circuitry, after the colorimetric pattern is fixed, the circuitry causes the conveyance device to convey the recording medium in the second direction by an amount equivalent to a distance from the marker pattern to an imaging position by the imaging device plus a margin, conveys the recording medium in the first direction until the imaging device detects the marker pattern, and conveys the recording medium in the first direction to a colorimetry position.

摘要： An image capturing device includes an image capturing unit, a moving unit, a detector, and a determiner. The image capturing unit includes an optical transmission member; and a sensor capturing an image of the subject via the optical transmission member. The moving unit moves the image capturing unit in an optical axis direction of the sensor. The detector detects a contamination from first and second images. The first and second images are captured by the sensor when the image capturing unit is located at first and second positions in the optical axis direction, respectively. The second position is spaced away from the subject than the first position in the optical axis direction. The determiner determines that a contamination is deposited on the optical transmission member when a difference in the number of pixels in which a contamination is detected between the first and second images is less than a threshold.

The roll sheet conveyance device includes a roll sheet feed device, a torsion detector, and a control device. The roll sheet feed device includes a drive device including upstream and downstream shafts in a drive transmission direction to rotate the medium, and a feed device to feed the medium. The detection device includes a torsion coil spring provided between the upstream and downstream shafts, and a pair of an encoder and an encoder sensor detecting the torsion amount at the opposite ends of the torsion coil spring. The control device controls the torsion amount on the basis of a signal from the detection device, and applies a given back tension to the medium.

The composition can be formed into articles having good heat resistance, a high modulus of elasticity and good toughness.
