摘要： An ink refilling system includes an ink jet recording apparatus, in which a cartridge with an ink containing portion can be installed. The ink jet recording apparatus includes a driver for driving a conveyer for conveying a recording medium, and a first transmitter for transmitting the driving force from the driver out of the ink jet recording apparatus. Also provided is an ink filling apparatus for filling the ink into the cartridge, the ink filling apparatus including: an ink storing portion for storing the ink to be filled into the cartridge; a connector for injecting the ink from the ink storing portion to the cartridge; a pressure-feeding device for pressure-feeding the ink through the connector; and a second transmitter for transmitting the driving force to drive the pressure-feeding device. The driving force from the driver of the ink jet recording apparatus is transmitted to the pressure-feeding device through the first and second driving force transmitters.

摘要： A sheet supply apparatus includes a sheet supporting device for supporting sheets, a sheet supply for positively contacting the sheet supported by the sheet supporting device and for feeding out the sheet, a release mechanism for releasing contact between the sheet supply and the sheet, a separation device for separating the sheets fed by the sheet supply one by one, a pair of convey rotary devices for conveying the separated sheet, and a controller. The controller effects control such that, after the sheet separated by the separation device is conveyed by a predetermined amount by the convey rotary devices, in a condition that the contact between the sheet supply and the sheet is released by the release mechanism, the sheet is conveyed in a reverse direction by the convey rotary devices until a tip end of the sheet leaves a nip of the convey rotary devices, and then the sheet is sent toward the nip of the convey rotary devices by the sheet supply to urge the tip end of the sheet against the nip of the convey rotary devices, which are now rotated in a reverse direction.

摘要： A method of ameliorating the residual stresses in a metallic duplex tube and the like and an apparatus therefor, wherein the duplex tube includes a main tube defining the outer tube, and a thermal sleeve defining the inner tube which is inserted to the outer tube, the thermal sleeve being welded onto the inside of the main tube at its root. The method comprises the steps of supplying cooling water in the duplex tube; fitting a restraining ring externally onto the outer surface of the main tube at a position corresponding to the thermal sleeve root; and heating the main tube from its outer surface so as to generate a temperature difference across the main tube wall. 摘要： A method of enhancing residual compressive stress in a horizontal double metallic pipe which includes an outer pipe and an inner pipe fitted into the outer pipe. Cooling water is introduced into both the inner pipe and an annular space defined between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. Further, cooling water is injected into the annular space to form a partial cooling water flow through the cooling water in the annular space. During the injection of cooling water, the outer pipe is heated from the outside thereof to generate a temperature difference between inner and outer faces of the outer pipe to such a degree that thermal stress larger than a yield point is produced in the outer pipe. Then, the heating of the outer pipe is stopped to allow the outer pipe to stand, whereby residual compressive stress is provided to a radially inner portion of the outer pipe.
