The tools also facilitate characterization of the events and determination of appropriate emergency responses for the events. When an indication of a hazardous material release event is received, data including information associated with the transportation of hazardous materials may be accessed to characterize the hazardous material release event. Based on the characterized hazardous material release event, appropriate responses are determined that are tailored the specifics of the hazardous material release event.

A second sensor input device generates a crankshaft position signal based on a rotation of the crankshaft. A control module detects a reverse rotation condition of the engine from the camshaft position signal and the crankshaft position signal, wherein the control module compares the camshaft position signal to the crankshaft position signal to determine an engine position. Based on the engine position the control module compares the camshaft position signal to an expected signal to determine a reverse rotation condition.

摘要： A vehicle leaf spring suspension having a low spring rate is disclosed. The suspension has an axle seat secured to a vehicle axle. The leaf spring is clamped at its spring seat area to the axle seat at the clamp group mounting surface of the axle seat and with certain of the disclosed axle seats, can be clamped such that the spring seat area is asymmetrically positioned with respect to the vehicle axle centerline. Also, an active clamp group arrangement can be used to utilize the entire physical length of the leaf spring.
