摘要： A plurality of protrusions is formed on the C-plane substrate with a corundum structure. A base film made of a III-V compound semiconductor including Ga and N is formed on the surface of the substrate. The surface of the base film is flatter than the surface of the substrate. A light emitting structure including Ga and N is disposed on the base film. The protrusions are regularly arranged in a first direction that is tilted by less than 15 degrees with respect to the a-axis of the base film and in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction. Each protrusion has two first parallel sides tilted by less than 15 degrees relative to an m-axis and two second parallel sides tilted by less than 15 degrees relative to the a-axis. An interval between the two second sides is wider than an interval between the two first sides.

摘要： Systems and methods for obtaining camera parameters from images are provided. First, a sequence of original images associated with a target object under circular motion is obtained. Then, a background image and a foreground image corresponding to the target object within each original image are segmented. Next, shadow detection is performed for the target object within each original image. A first threshold and a second threshold are respectively determined according to the corresponding background and foreground images. Each original image, the corresponding background image, the first and second threshold are used for obtaining silhouette data and feature information associated with the target object within each original image. At least one camera parameter is obtained based on the entire feature information and the geometry of circular motion.

摘要： An illumination device and a manufacture method thereof are provided. The illumination device includes a base, an illumination chip, and a sealant. The base has a surrounding side wall which encloses a containing space. The illumination chip is disposed within the containing space while the sealant fills the containing space and covers the illumination chip. The sealant has an outer surface which includes a center concave and a circular convex surrounding the center concave. The center concave is formed as a part of a spherical surface with no singular point. The connection between the center concave and the circular convex forms a circular ridge.

摘要： A third-order transconductance (gm3) cancellation is utilized to obtain a highly linear mixer. Transistors obtain good linearity with complementary gm3 values. The transistor thus obtained can be operated in a wide bandwidth and is applicable to various frequency specifications of systems, like Bluetooth, wireless LAN, Ultra-Wide Band (UWB), etc. Then the transistors are applied to design a transconductance-stage input of the mixer. Hence, the present invention can be widely applied to receiver modules and be realized with a low-cost CMOS transistor.
