摘要： An optocoupler device for receiving a load voltage larger than or equal to 5 KV includes a carrier, a supporting frame connected to the carrier, a light emitter and a light receiver spacedly mounted on the carrier, an electrical isolator at least partially disposed on the supporting frame, a translucent encapsulate, and an opaque encapsulate. The electrical isolator is translucent and has a dielectric strength larger than or equal to 50 KV/mm. A shortest light transmitting path between the light emitter and the light receiver passes through the electrical isolator. The supporting frame, the light emitter, the light receiver, and at least part of the electrical isolator are embedded in the translucent encapsulate, and the translucent encapsulate is embedded in the opaque encapsulate.

In one example, among others, a hot-carrier photodetector includes a graded barrier; an absorber disposed on the graded barrier; and a second barrier disposed on the absorber. For example, the absorber can include p-type doped GaAs. The graded barrier is disposed between the absorber and an injector, which can include p-type doped GaAs. In some implementations, the hot-carrier detector can include multiple barriers and absorbers. The hot-carrier photodetector can include an optical source (e.g., a LED) to trigger the VLWIR response in the photodetector.

摘要： An LED luminaire has a dye-sensitized solar cell for converting light emitted from a light source to electric energy and uses the converted electric energy. Since the dye-sensitized solar cell plays a role of a diffusion plate, the LED luminaire may diffuse light and convert wasted light into power. Further, since energy consumption and green-house gas generation decrease, it is possible to provide an environment-friendly LED luminaire. Moreover, if the power generated by the dye-sensitized solar cell is used for cooling the LED luminaire, it is possible to enhance heat dissipation efficiency of the LED luminaire.

The two output and two input conductor plates includes terminal portions which protrude outside the encapsulating resin and are mounted on a common printed circuit board. Further, the two output conductor plates includes mount portions on which the two MOSFETs are mounted or on which drain electrodes of the two MOSFETs are connected, and the mount portions are encapsulated by the encapsulating resin in such an orientation that a thickness direction of the mount portions intersects that of the printed circuit board.

The optocoupler may comprise an optical emitter, an optical receiver, an isolation layer, a lens layer and a substantially transparent encapsulant. The lens layer may be integrally formed within the optical receiver. Alternatively, the lens layer may be formed integrally with the isolation layer, or the lens layer may be an optical film attached on the optical receiver. The substantially transparent encapsulant may encapsulate at least partially the optical emitter, the optical receiver and the isolation layer. The isolation layer may be inserted to the substantially transparent encapsulant, making the substantially transparent encapsulant into two compartments. In another embodiment, an electronic system having optocoupler is disclosed.
