摘要： Disclosed herein is a composition for imparting superior fire retardancy and shape-retaining properties to polyester. The composition comprises 55 to 75% by weight of a sodium silicate solution, 0.5 to 7% by weight of carboxyl methyl cellulose, 0.7 to 10% by weight of a urethane resin, 0.7 to 10% by weight of an acrylic resin mixture and the remaining weight percent of water, based on 100% by weight of the composition, wherein the sodium silicate solution consists of Na2O and SiO2 in a molar ratio of 1:2.1 to 1:2.9, the urethane resin consists of 70 to 80% by weight of methylene diphenyl isocyanate and 20 to 30% by weight of methylpolyglycol, and the acrylic resin mixture consists of 36 to 40% by weight of a butyl acrylate monomer, 10 to 13% by weight of methyl methacrylate, 1 to 2% by weight of an emulsifier, 3 to 5% by weight of acrylic acid and the remaining weight percent of water.Disclosed herein are further a method for preparing the composition and a method for applying the composition to a polyester resin. The composition-applied polyester resin is suitable for use as an automobile NVH component, in particular, a sound-absorbing heat-insulation component of an engine room.

摘要： A novel cement slurry composed of cement and water that can be used in cement stabilization applications. The cement slurry compound itself is chemically treated, by means of a cellulosic or other thixotropic thickening agent(s) to create a thixotropic system wherein the wetted cement remains in suspension and does not settle out prior to use even without further mixing. A chemical retarder/stabilizer is also used to prevent the slurry from prematurely setting during shipping. A novel apparatus and method for mixing the novel cement slurry is disclosed to insure the exact proportioning of all ingredients and the proper wetting of the cement.

A uniform mix of first constituents comprises: cement of Blaine fineness of 280-360 m2/kg; sand at a mass ratio of 0.75-1.25 of the cement; silica fume at a mass ratio of 0.15-0.4 of the cement; silica flour at a mass ratio of 0.15-0.3 of the cement; and microinclusions at a mass ratio up to 0.35 of the cement. This is then mixed with a blend of second constituents comprising a specified amount of an HRWRA and an amount of water at a mass ratio of 0.2-0.35 of the cement. This is mixed sufficiently to form a uniform cement-based paste to which an amount of macrofibers at a mass ratio of up to 0.35 of the cement is added to yield a uniform product. Nanoinclusions may be added to improve crack resistance and increase density.

When this tile cement composition is mixed with water and applied to a substrate, the correction time, applicability, and sag resistance of the wet mortar are comparable or improved as compared to when using conventional similar cellulose ethers.

摘要： Lime-free admixture compositions comprising a combination of ingredients are disclosed. The ingredients of the lime-free admixture compositions comprise a combination of emulsifiers, toughening resins/plasticizers, adhesive resins, pumping aids for providing lubrication, rheology controllers, water retention agents, water repellants/overcoat finishes, accelerators, liquid adsorbents/water reducers and air entraining agents. The lime-free admixture compositions are total replacements for lime. The ingredients of the lime-free admixture compositions have specific purposes that lead to optimized properties when used in combination with a binder comprising hydraulic cement. The lime-free admixture compositions are non-corrosive, making them safe to use by workers and they have rheological properties that make them suitable for use in various applications including concrete, mortars, grouts and stuccos. The ingredients comprising lime-free admixture compositions are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
