    • An electronic interface control system for a pneumatic vehicle safety lift system has a computer that receives sensor inputs, presents outputs, and receives commands from a user. The computer has its power from an automobile and operates an air compressor for air hoses. The computer operates a pneumatic jack upon an automobile. The computer reads sensors related to jack position and triggers indicators to the user so the jack raises the vehicle after a footplate rests below it in a safe manner. The system lifts a vehicle stuck or undergoing repair. The computer checks that a certain number of jacks, preferably one, activate at once. The computer checks by inquiring of the sensors and switches deployed upon a vehicle and within a carrying case. The carrying case has a safety strut for the jack and a torque gun for a user.

    • An object 10 includes an electric actuator system 11 and a method 12. The object 10 may be a vehicle that includes wheels 18-21. The system 11 and method 12 include microprocessor based controllers 32, 33 and 37, electric actuators 22-25, 38 and 39, and a user interface 34 with an integrated level sensor and temperature sensor. The system 11 and method 12 operate to automatically or manually move the vehicle 10 from a not level attitude to a level attitude when the vehicle 10 is parked. The system 11 and method 12 in a preferred embodiment (FIGS. 4-6) may be configured to utilize any number of substantially identical controllers and actuators. The system 11 and method 12 sense the load carried by each actuator, to assure the wheels of the vehicle are not carrying more than a desired amount of the load when the vehicle is parked.

    • A system and method are disclosed for leveling a vehicle when stationary. The system includes three zones with a first zone at the front end, and the second and third zones on opposite sides of the vehicle. All zones include leveling jacks, each having a blind side and a rod side. At least one leveling jack is located in the first zone, and at least two leveling jacks are located in each of the second and third zones. The blind sides of the jacks in each zone are connected together. The rod sides of all of the jacks are connected to a common fluid line, which typically is at low fluid pressure or pressure-free. The method involves extending all of the jacks from retracted positions to extended positions until they meet the surface upon which the vehicle is located. Fluid is then applied to the blind sides of either the second or third zone leveling jacks to raise the lower of the two sides. If the front end is lower than the rear end, fluid is applied to the blind side of the leveling jack in the first zone. If the front end is higher than the rear, fluid is relived form the blind side of the leveling jack.

    • A system for supporting a vehicle. The system may include a vehicle jack in mechanical communication with a jack foot and a striker plate. The jack foot is rotatable relative to the vehicle jack on a rotation axis disposed on the vehicle jack and perpendicular to a long axis of the vehicle jack. The jack foot includes a base at a distal end of the jack foot. The jack foot also includes a cam surface at least in part at a proximal end of the jack foot. The cam surface is aligned with the striker plate and interacts with the striker plate to rotate the jack foot in response to movement of the vehicle jack from a lowered position to a raised position.

    • A system for leveling a vehicle which includes three zones with a first zone at the front end, and the second and third zones on opposite sides of the vehicle. All zones include leveling jacks, each having a blind side and a rod side. At least one leveling jack is located in the first zone, and at least two leveling jacks are located in each of the second and third zones, straddling the wheel on that side. The blind sides of the jacks in each zone are connected. In operation, once the vehicle is stationary, all of the jacks are extended from a retracted position to an extended position meeting the surface upon which the vehicle is located. Fluid is then applied to the blind side of one of the second and third zone leveling jacks to raise the lower of the two sides. The front end is then leveled.

    • A tool for pumping the brake pedal of a vehicle does not require a person in the vehicle to pump the brakes. The tool permits a person to bleed the hydraulics when doing a brake job without the need for a second person. The tool, also referred to as a pedal pumper, or a pedal pumping device, may include straps on each end for extending the tool between the steering wheel and the brake pedal. When air is supplied to the tool, the air pressure may cause the tool to extend and depress the brake pedal. When the air pressure is released, the force of the tool is released and the brake pedal is allowed to return to its un-depressed position.
