摘要： A method, system, and program for origin device initiated callee identification are provided. At an origin device, a voice utterance of a callee is detected from a destination device. A callee identity associated with the voice utterance is identified at the origin device, such that the callee identity is transmittable as an authenticated identity of the callee for a call. A caller may select whether to continue a call dependent upon whether the callee identity is preferable. In addition, an intermediary device may receive the callee identity and specify services available during the call according to the callee identity.

摘要： This invention discloses a system of remote user authentication to an authentication server, with a telephone interface to the authentication server that only receives routed calls that have originated from a cell phone in a cellular network and a call handling logic function which routs only those calls to the authentication server over the interface that have originated from a cell phone with a subscriber identity module (SIM) card and for which the cellular company maintains an individual subscriber identification data. In a different embodiment a remote user authentication system has different interfaces and different authentication processes that correspond with a telephone network interface and with a cellular telephone company network interface, enabling the authentication system to have different methods of authentication depending upon which interface a remote user connection authentication request originated from. The method uses the SIM card of a cell phone as a “something you have” factor as part of a two-factor authentication mechanism to an authentication server. The telephone network uses a call back feature.

摘要： In one embodiment, a system authenticates a caller before providing the caller with access to one or more secured resources. Identification and verification data is stored during system enrollment of known persons. A processing system, in a current call initiated by a caller and prior to identification of the caller, receives voice-based information for the caller including a digital representation of a telephone number spoken by the caller in the current call, the received information including voice-based identification information and voice-based verification information for the caller. The processing system automatically compares the received identification information and the received verification information for the caller with the stored identification and verification data for known persons, respectively, to uniquely identify and verify the identity of the caller as a particular known person. The processing system authenticates the caller for access to the one or more secured resources in response.
