摘要： The invention provides a catalyst for producing acrylic acid at high yield for a long time, in a method for producing acrylic acid by catalytic gas phase oxidation of propane and/or acrolein in the presence of molecular oxygen or a molecular oxygen-containing gas. This catalyst comprises a complex oxide containing molybdenum, vanadium and X component (here the X component is at least one element selected from antimony, niobium and tin) as the essential components, and is characterized in that its main peak as measured by X-ray diffractiometry using Kα ray of Cu, d=4.00±0.1 angstrom, and in that the particle size of the X component in the catalyst does not exceed 20 μm.

摘要： The present process separates acrylic acid from a composition containing acrylic acid and at least one accompanying product. The process first involves contacting the composition with an aqueous liquid stream to give a liquid solution of acrylic acid, accompanying product, and water. The water then forms an azeotrope with an entrainer, which is added to the solution. Distillation then separates the solution into an overhead product containing the azeotrope and a bottom product containing acrylic acid and accompanying product. The overhead product is separated into water and entrainer and the bottom product is separated in a distillation column into acrylic acid and accompanying product. The process provides a way to remove high- and low-boiling products with a small number of distillation columns.

摘要： An integrated process for producing ethanol, comprising the step of reacting carbon monoxide with at least one reactant in a reactor containing a reaction medium to produce a liquid reaction product comprising acetic acid. The reaction medium comprises water, acetic acid, methyl acetate, a halogen promoter, and a first catalyst. The process further comprises the steps of directly feeding the liquid reaction product from the reactor to a distillation column and withdrawing from it an overhead stream comprising methyl acetate, and/or halogen promoter, a bottoms stream comprising a solution of the first catalyst, and a liquid acetic acid sidestream; and hydrogenating acetic acid of the liquid acetic acid sidestream in the presence of a second catalyst and under conditions effective to form a crude ethanol product comprising ethanol and water. No flashing vessel is used to purify the liquid reaction product. Ethanol is recovered from the crude ethanol product.

摘要： In a process for distilling polymerization-prone compounds from liquid mixtures of matter which, apart from the readily polymerizable compound, also contain other components and also polymerization inhibitors, the evaporator is operated in forced circulation and at a pressure which makes possible superheating of the liquid with respect to its boiling point at the pressure within the distillation column. This is achieved by transporting the superheated liquid against a flow restrictor, e.g. an orifice plate. The liquid which is expanded and partially evaporated on passage through the flow restrictor is returned to the distillation column. In this manner the formation of an open vapour space in the evaporator circuit after heating downstream of the heat exchanger is avoided in that, in the design of the evaporator of the prior art, formation of polymer deposits frequently occurs.

In particular, a mixed product gas, comprising (meth)acrylic acid, acetic acid, propylene and acrolein, is subjected to fractional absorption to produce an aqueous product stream comprising (meth)acrylic acid, water and acetic acid, and an absorber off-gas stream comprising propylene and acrolein. The aqueous product stream is distilled to produce a purified (meth)acrylic acid stream and a waste water stream comprising water and acetic acid. The absorber off gas is then contacted with the waste water stream and at least a portion of the acetic acid moves from the waste water stream to the absorber off gas to produce a stripped waste water stream and an enriched absorber off gas.

摘要： Forming acetic acid and methanol from the hydrolysis of methyl acetate by reactive distillation is disclosed. A feed containing water and methyl acetate contacts a catalyst in a reactive space to perform the hydrolysis to form methanol and acetic acid. The reactive space comprises at least a first rectification zone, a first stripping zone and a first reaction zone. A catalyst is provided in the first reaction zone. The column further comprises a product space with at least a second rectification zone and a second stripping zone. The second stripping zone shares at least a portion of the column sump with the first stripping zone. A first head product is discharged from a reactive space head portion and a bottom product is discharged from the column sump and a second head product is discharged from a product space head portion and an intermediate product is discharged from the product space.
