摘要： A modular package tray for an automotive vehicle, comprising: a generally hollow, generally rectangular plastic housing 10 having an interior cavity 12, opposed upper and lower wall sections 14/15, opposed forward and rearward longitudinal edges 16/17, and opposed left and right lateral edges 18; and left and right wing sections 20 each attached to a respective one of the left and right lateral edges 18 by a living hinge 30 integrally molded with the plastic housing. Each of the wings 20 may be folded about its respective living hinge 30 in order to temporarily reduce the overall length of the package tray, thus permitting the package tray to be easily installed or removed through the rear window of the vehicle. The package tray may further include a center high mount stop light 60, in-molded carpet 40 generally covering the upper wall section 14, and one or more audio speaker assemblies 52.

摘要： According to the invention, an elastic sealing foil for an inside door panel of a motor vehicle door is formed to provide a receiving device which can be changed from a manufactured position into an installed position. In the manufactured position, the receiving device is composed of two formed-out portions which are arranged above one another, have a cross-section with an approximately U-shaped profile and extend in the opposite directions. These formed-out portions are connected to one another by way of a common wall section. In the installed position, the receiving device projects through an opening of the inside door panel, and downward into the hollow space of the door body, and envelopes an audio or accessory part inserted into the receiving device, providing a water-tight seal with respect to the hollow space of the door body. The receiving device can be displaced from its manufactured position into its installed position by applying an outwardly and downwardly directed force to the lower formed-out portion.

摘要： A molded motor vehicle instrument panel made of a thermoplastic material has an integral air bag deployment door for a passenger side air bag that is defined by a tear seam and is normally retained by an integral flexible mounting/hinge flange to a part of the vehicle structure when the seam is torn by the inflating air bag and wherein this flange then bends to allow the door to swing open to allow deployment of the air bag through an opening in the instrument panel while retaining same to the vehicle structure as the door is then free of the instrument panel. At very low temperatures, a portion of the air bag door can break away from the mounting/hinge flange because of plastic embrittlement at these low temperatures and the high bending stresses encountered at this juncture. This separation of the broken door portion from the vehicle structure is prevented by a tethering hinge that is formed of a strong flexible sheet material that spans this critical juncture between the mounting/hinge flange and door and remains flexible at these very cold temperatures to retain the broken door portion to the vehicle structure.

The truck window may include a central plate arranged for disengagement relative to the first and second window plates to permit ventilation through the truck cab.

摘要： A speaker is installed on a door panel of an automobile by utilizing a supporting unit including a base and a substantially disc-shaped spacer. The base is attached to the door panel and has a bottom surface inclined with respect to the door panel.
