摘要： Hydraulically-driven vibrating massagers. Devices for massage and/or sexual stimulation are vibrated and/or rhythmically deformed. The devices have at least two, and normally three elements as follows: (1) One or more hydraulically driven sacs or tubes within a massage and/or sexual stimulation device which are constructed with walls of intentionally varying modulus; (2) A hydraulic actuator to move hydraulic fluid into and out of the device (1) (3) Optionally, a flexible hose or hoses connected at one end to the sexual stimulation device or devices and at the other end to the hydraulic actuator. The particular devices actuated by the present invention can include various prior art massage and/or sexual stimulation devices, including muscle massagers, dildos, and penis rings (with or without attachment to secondary anal stimulators), sexually stimulating underwear, and two-ended dildos intended to anchor on one end in a vagina and/or anus, for example. For purposes of this disclosure, “sexually stimulating devices” and other similar language should also be understood to include massage devices that are not specifically intended for sexual stimulation. Compared to prior art vibrating sexual stimulators, the devices of this invention are capable of more complex modes of motion and both higher amplitude and slower deformation rates. The hydraulically actuated sexual stimulators of this invention are powerful, compact, quiet, and have low rates of heat generation compared to prior art electrically-driven vibrating sexual stimulation devices. In addition, the devices can be conveniently heated or cooled via the hydraulic fluid.

摘要： A portable soaking and bath pan is provided for treating perineal wounds of a bedridden patient. The pan comprises a bottom portion having a generally flat lower surface for being supported upon the patient's bed and upwardly and outwardly flaring sides that define a relatively wide and shallow treatment area that can receive the thighs and buttocks of the patient to be treated. A collection reservoir or basin is formed within the bottom portion immediately beneath the treatment area which is used to collect cleansing fluid as the patient is treated. The collection reservoir has a drain outlet that is used to convey the accumulated cleansing fluid from the reservoir through flexible tubing to a discharge receptacle in the patient's room. A discharge valve controls the flow of cleansing fluid from the reservoir. A handheld, detachable spray head mounted to the pan is provided for introducing cleansing fluid into the treatment area. A filling valve is provided in conjunction with the spray head for the purpose of controlling the flow of cleansing fluid into the treatment area through the spray head.

A cover having an upper cushioning member provided with a recess portion is detachably mounted over the base with the lower cushioning member being in pressure contact with the upper cushioning member such that a washing chamber is defined by the recess, the opening and the base. The lower and upper cushioning members are shaped for supporting the femoral and lumbar regions of the patient therebetween such that the pubic region and the anal region of the patient are positioned in the washing chamber and are washed with the washing liquid ejected from the nozzle. A discharge port is provided in the base for discharging the used washing liquid from the washing chamber.

摘要： The present invention provides a therapeutic spray apparatus and method for alleviating human ailments and conditions thereof. The apparatus comprises a pad capable of being disposed in an area, such as a bathtub, for a person to reside in a sitting position and which pad is capable of supporting the buttocks and a portion of the thighs of the individual sitting thereupon. The pad also serves as a housing to contain certain of the components forming part of the apparatus in a kit form. One of the components of the apparatus is a nozzle capable of being disposed within an aperture in the pad and has a nozzle opening capable of directing water toward the groin area of an individual sitting upon the pad. A hose is connected to the nozzle on its underside and is capable of being connected to a source of water under pressure, such as tap water, such that the tap water is directed as a spray, and preferably as an intermittent spray, toward the groin area. In this way, it is possible to alleviate conditions of prostate gland ailments, vaginitis, hemorrhoids, anal and anal canal disorders and like problems. The hose and the nozzle can be easily disposed within a recessed means formed within the pad. Moreover, a supporting element, in the form of a retaining plate, disposed in the pad may be secured to a wall or similar surface for holding the pad in an upright position when not in use. The retaining plate can also be used for other functional purposes, such as a soap dish or the like.
