    • An X-ray imaging apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an X-ray sensor unit that detects X-rays, and a control unit that controls driving of an X-ray generator and the X-ray sensor unit. The control unit performs alignment imaging for imaging a still image of a subject. The still image is used as a reference for alignment of at least one of the X-ray generator and the X-ray sensor unit. After the alignment imaging, the control unit performs main imaging for imaging a moving image of the subject. The alignment imaging and the main imaging are performed under the same driving condition of the X-ray sensor unit.

    • A method for generation of a scan path for an x-ray source and/or an x-ray detector of an x-ray system is provided. CT-type imaging on the x-ray system is enabled by traversing the scan path upon simultaneous acquisition of a series of x-ray images. An original scan path of the x-ray source and/or of the x-ray detector is provided, where the scan path is defined by a series of original acquisition points. A viewing axis from the x-ray source to the object and/or the detector is identified for at least one acquisition point on the scan path. A modified scan path is generated by displacement of the at least one acquisition point at least partially along the viewing axis so that the scanning movement upon traversing the modified scan path can be reproduced as in the original scan path.

    • An X-ray imaging device includes an X-ray generator, a filter plate detachably attached to an X-ray outlet of the X-ray generator, and a FPD. The filter plate has a plurality of circular markers of different sizes. The smallest marker is disposed at the center of the filter plate. The other markers are disposed on lines radiating from the smallest marker in increasing order of size and at regular intervals. An X-ray radiation beam passes through the markers and patient's body, and is incident upon an imaging surface of the FPD. The FPD produces a preliminary radiographic image from the incident X-ray radiation beam. A deviation vector detector chooses adjoining two marker images of different sizes from the preliminary radiographic image, and identifies to which markers the marker images correspond based on a size ratio. Then, the deviation vector detector determines the center of an X-ray field.

An X-ray image is captured by emitting X-rays from the decided X-ray focus and causing the X-ray detector to detect the X-rays.

    • A system and method for determining the location of an x-ray source of an x-ray machine and adjusting grid lines in an anti-scatter grid are disclosed. An ideal beam path is obtained and is used to adjust grid lines in the anti-scatter grid. In one embodiment, the invention uses a source locator to locate the x-ray source, communicate this location to the said adjustable anti-scatter grid which could align the grid lines mechanically, by means of servos attached to the grid lines, to the ideal x-ray beam path. In other embodiment electrical currents are used to align grid lines with the beam source. By aligning the grid lines with the beam path, images with increased contrast and reduced noise can be produced.
