摘要： A shock absorber includes a dust tube that surrounds a shock body. The shock body is movable relative to the dust tube in response to road load inputs. A plurality of magnets is mounted to one of the dust tube and shock body, and a module is mounted to the other of the dust tube and shock body. The module interacts with the plurality of magnets to determine a position of the dust tube relative to a position of the shock body. This position information can be used to adjust suspension ride height as needed.

A resilient member biases the flapper valve toward the closed position. An electric actuator actively moves the flapper valve at least from the closed position to the intermediate position. A coupling mechanism couples the valve shaft to an electric actuator shaft and allows the flapper valve to move to the open position in response to exhaust flow sufficient to overcome a biasing force of the resilient member without requiring input from the electric actuator.

摘要： An exhaust valve assembly includes a valve body, a valve supported by a shaft within the valve body, and an actuator that moves the valve relative to the valve body to control exhaust flow. The actuator is thermally isolated from the valve by a linkage mechanism that cooperates with exhaust flow to move the valve between open and closed positions. The actuator temporarily contacts the linkage mechanism to initiate opening and closing movement but then moves out of contact with the linkage mechanism as the exhaust flow exerts a force against the valve to move the valve to a fully open or fully closed position. This temporary contact between the linkage mechanism and the actuator reduces heat transfer from the valve to the actuator.

摘要： A plasma fuel reformer assembly for producing reformate gas includes a fuel reformer having an air/fuel input assembly, an electrode assembly, and a soot trap positioned downstream of the electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode and a second electrode that is spaced apart from the first electrode. The fuel reformer further includes a reformer controller electrically coupled to the air/fuel input assembly. The reformer controller includes a processing unit electrically connected to a memory unit. Stored in the memory unit is a plurality of memory instructions that, when executed by the processing unit, causes the processing unit to: operate the air/fuel input assembly so as to advance a first air/fuel mixture with a first air-to-fuel ratio into the fuel reformer, determine if a soot purge of the soot trap is to be performed and generate a purge-soot signal in response thereto, and operate the air/fuel input assembly so as to advance a second air/fuel mixture having a second air-to-fuel ratio greater than the first air-to-fuel ratio into the fuel reformer.
