摘要： A shock absorber for a vehicle suspension system may include a damper tube defining an axis, a rod operably coupled to the damper tube to be movable along the axis relative to the damper tube in response to jounce and rebound events, a dust boot operably coupled to the rod and extending along peripheral sides of the rod and at least a proximal end of the damper tube relative to the rod, the dust boot being movable with the rod, a target disposed on a damper bump cap operably coupled to the proximal end of the damper tube, and a measurement assembly affixed to the dust boot. The measurement assembly may include a PCB elongated parallel to the axis to track relative movement between the target and the measurement assembly responsive to the jounce and rebound events to generate ride height information based on the relative movement.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a damper system for a vehicle. The damper system may have an electrically adjustable hydraulic shock absorber including a rod guide assembly, a pressure tube, a reserve tube and an electromechanical valve. The electromechanical valve may be disposed in a valve cavity within the shock absorber. An integrated electronic system may be included which has a power drive electronics. The power drive electronics is electrically coupled to the electromechanical valve. The integrated electronic system is disposed along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the pressure tube, and at a location radially outwardly of the pressure tube adjacent the rod guide assembly.

The method envisages carrying out a frequency analysis of the analogue displacement signal such as to obtain a spectrum including at least one frequency window wherein at least one datum of the spectrum is based on a rolling parameter; measuring at least one of the data; determining, from the measured datum or data, at least one rolling condition corresponding to the rolling parameter or to the development of the rolling parameter.

摘要： A piston damper assembly includes a piston damper and a relative position sensor. The piston damper includes a damper body and a piston rod. The piston rod is axially movable within the damper body. The relative position sensor includes an axially-extending magnetic core, an excitation coil, and a position-sensing coil. The axially-extending magnetic core is movable with the piston rod, is located outside the damper body, and has first and second protrusions extending toward the damper body. The excitation coil is wound around the first protrusion, and the position-sensing coil is wound around the second protrusion. A piston-damper dust tube subassembly includes an axially-extending piston-damper dust tube and a relative position sensor. The relative position sensor includes an axially-extending magnetic core, an excitation coil, and a position-sensing coil. The axially-extending magnetic core is attached to the dust tube and has first and second protrusions.

摘要： A system and method for controlling a damping system. The system has at least two dampers for damping between sprung and unsprung masses in the compression and rebound directions. Sensors generate signals based on position and other parameters of motion representative of the displacement between the sprung and unsprung masses. The process determines the appropriate compression and rebound forces to be applied at the wheels. A regulator responds to at least one of the independent compression and rebound control signals for adjusting, respectively, at least one of compression and rebound resisting forces of the dampers between the masses. Compliance for the dampers is emulated with software to produce the desired compliance forces. The distributed controller includes a processor that is responsive to signals representative of the position signals for forming the compression and rebound control signals for the regulator as a function of motion between the masses or a motion of a vehicle in which the dampers are located. The system has the capability of locking the suspension when parked.
