摘要： A cell connection strap for electrically connecting a pair of adjacent battery cells within a battery pack includes, in one example, a fusible link for preventing a thermal runaway condition from occurring in a cell connected thereto. The strap may include raised features thereon for permitting relative movement between the cells in the pack due to vibration or an impact of the pack from translating stress to welds connecting the straps to the cells. In another example, the body of the cell strap may include slits formed in sides thereof to reduce rigidity of the strap for protecting the welds between strap and cell, and also provides a fusible link capability in the strap for preventing a thermal runaway condition from occurring in a cell connected thereto.

摘要： An observation system for observation calls to a call center includes an automatic call director (ACD) unit, an interactive voice response (IVR) unit, and a recorder unit. The ACD receives incoming calls to the call center and also queues and switches the calls to various lines of the call center. The IVR unit is connected to the ACD unit and interacts with a caller via an interactive computer program in which the caller enters a response to a prompt and the response causes the interactive program to provide the caller with information or another prompt. The recorder unit records calls to the call center from beginning to end, including prompts made by the IVR unit, callers responses to the prompts, and information provided by the IVR unit to the callers.

摘要： A system and method has been provided to selectively deliver a plurality of trigger signals to a counter/timer embedded in a microprocessor. The method provides the step of selecting a signal, from either internal or external sources, to trigger the counter/timer. If an internal source is selected, the method provides the step of selecting either a synchronous or non-synchronous signal source to trigger the counter/timer. Regardless of the source chosen, the method includes the step of generating a signal output from the selected source, and the further step of delivering the trigger signal on a dedicated connection. The method of the present invention also includes the step of counting clock cycles in response to the arrival of the trigger signal to the counter/timer. An apparatus to selectively deliver a trigger signal to a counter/timer embedded in a microprocessor from a plurality of signal sources is also provided. The apparatus includes an internal on-chip signal path extending between an internal PWM and the counter/timer, whereby the PWM can serve as the source of the trigger signal.
