摘要： Provided is a method of manufacturing a form factor disk such as an optical or magnetic disk for use in electronic appliances and information appliances. The method includes forming a hub for readily mounting the disk to a magnetic rotational disk connected to a spindle motor of the information appliances by depositing or plating a magnetic material, whereby it is possible to minimize a thickness of the disk, simplifying a manufacturing process, allowing an ultra-small and ultra-slim form factor disk to be manufactured, and therefore, facilitating ultra-minimization and ultra-slim of the information appliances.

摘要： A motor has a field magnet assembly comprising a plurality of magnets arranged in the circumferential direction of the field magnet assembly such that like polarities face each other, and a plurality of magnet spacers disposed between the magnets, respectively. Consequently, leakage of magnetic flux of the field magnet assembly is minimized, and torque is improved as compared to a conventional motor having the same stacking and capacity. In a washing machine with the motor, the magnets and the magnet spacers are integrally attached to the outer tub of the washing machine. Consequently, the size of the washing machine is minimized. The sizes of the inner and outer tubs are increased when the washing machine according to the present invention has the same size as the conventional washing machine. Consequently, the capacity of the washing machine is increased.

摘要： An active handoff system and method of a dual mode terminal capable of connecting to a wireless network, such as wireless local area network (LAN), and a mobile communication system are provided. The handoff method includes the steps of assigning, at a packet data service node of the mobile communication system, an IP address to the dual mode terminal connected to the service network, establishing, at the packet data service node, a tunneling path to the wireless LAN when the dual mode terminal moves from the mobile communication network to the wireless LAN, and disconnecting, at the packet data service node, the tunneling path to the wireless LAN, and establishing a tunneling path to another packet data service node whose Internet Protocol (IP) address has been established by the packet data service node, when the dual mode terminal moves from the wireless LAN to the mobile communication system. A dual mode terminal that moves from a 3G mobile communication system to a wireless network in an active state maintains an existing IP address assigned from an active 3G mobile communication system so that the dual mode terminal can maintain an upper layer session and transmit an IP packet to a terminal located in a 3G mobile communication system.

摘要： A solid-state transducer is disclosed. The transducer comprises a semi-conductor substrate forming a support structure and having an opening. A thin-film structure forming a diaphragm responsive to fluid-transmitted acoustic pressure is disposed over the opening. The transducer further includes a plurality of semi-conductor supports and tangential arms extending from the diaphragm edge for connecting the periphery of the diaphragm to the supports. The tangential arms permit the diaphragm to rotate relative to the supports to relieve film stress in the diaphragm. The transducer still further includes a plurality of stop bumps disposed between the substrate and the diaphragm. The stop bumps determine the separation of the diaphragm from the substrate when the transducer is biased.

The method includes: obtaining a mixed solution containing oltipraz and a water-soluble polymer or a water-insoluble polymer in a solvent, the solvent being an organic solvent or purified water; and solid-dispersing the oltipraz in the polymer. In the solid-dispersing, the mixed solution may be spray dried using a spray dryer or granulated using a fluid bed granulator.
