摘要： Disclosed are methods, systems and computer program products for surveying a user using a scan-able information encoded graphic image, such as a bar code or a quick response (QR) code. In one embodiment, a mobile communication device such as a smartphone, tablet computer or other mobile computer is adapted to include a survey client module for scanning and communicating QR code information. QR code scanning is accomplished by a camera module that is associated with the smartphone or other mobile computing device. The survey client module communicates the scanned QR code information to an associated server application for collecting, processing and reporting survey data. The information encoded in the QR code includes information that is sufficient to identify a client entity (e.g., a local retailer or merchant) and a survey response.

The method also includes accessing a foreign routing information database using an ENUM formatted query message to obtain foreign routing address information associated with the at least one foreign telecommunications network, modifying the call setup message to include the address information, and routing the modified call setup message towards the network gateway.

According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a method for providing location-sensitive called-party identifier translation in a telecommunications network. 摘要： A porting control routing (PCR) node (302) is adapted to efficiently route signaling messages associated with a mobile subscriber that has been either ported in to or out of a service provider's wireless communication network. The PCR node (302) includes both range- and exception based routing rule databases (348 and 346). These databases increase flexibility in allocating mobile identification numbers among multiple mobile service nodes. Furthermore, the association of a ported status indicator and related routing information with entries in the exception based database allows the PCR node (302) to more efficiently manage a service provider's mobile service resources.

摘要： Methods and systems for generating accurate call detail records in networks that utilize number portability are disclosed. A number portability reconciliation (NPR) monitoring system receives signaling messages relating to different calls or transactions. The signaling messages may be copied from a network monitoring location upstream from where a number portability database lookup occurs for a call. The monitoring system automatically correlates messages relating to the same call or transaction into a call detail record usable by a plurality of different network monitoring applications. The NPR monitoring system determines whether number portability processing is required, and, in response, the NPR monitoring system queries a number portability database. The NPR monitoring system receives a response from the number portability database and updates the call detail record based on the response.
