    • A mobile communication terminal has a radio frequency identification (RFID) system to read information from RFID tags at predetermined distances. An RFID transmission antenna to transmit or receive a wireless signal for mobile communication to/from a base station, or transmit wireless signal to the RFID tag, and an RFID reception antenna to receive RFID wireless signal transmitted from the RFID tag. Accordingly, ingress of the RFID transmission carrier leakage to the RFID reception circuit can be prevented. Additionally, a small size antenna such as a chip ceramic antenna is used exclusively for RFID reception, and the RFID reception antenna is also used as a mobile communication antenna. As a result, the mobile communication terminal can be compact-sized, the size of transmission signal can be increased, and dynamic range increases without having to increase the sensitivity of the RFID tag, to extend the communication distance.

    • A method and apparatus for simplifying a structure needed to delay data in delay units when a reference signal and data are transmitted by using chaotic signals are provided. The method includes delaying data by at least two delay times, wherein each of the delay times occurs sequentially; multiplexing the data, which has been delayed, according to a control signal; and transmitting the data and a reference signal which corresponds to the data at an interval of delay time. The apparatus includes a first delay unit which is configured to delay data for a first delay time; a second delay unit which is configured to delay the data output from the first delay unit for a second delay time; and a multiplexer which is configured to multiplex the data from the first and second delay units according to a control signal.

The wide band-differential chaos shift keying modulation method includes: generating a wide band chaotic signal; delaying the wide band chaotic signal; multiplying the delayed wide band chaotic signal by an information signal to output a multiplied signal; and performing a switching operation so as to alternately transmit the wide band chaotic signal and the multiplied signal. Thus, the invention can be realized without an APLL, a mixer, an FM modulator, and the like, to reduce power consumption and manufacturing cost for the transmitting apparatus. Thus, noise characteristics and security performance can be high, and the wide band-DCSK modulation method can be robust to multi-path.

    • An apparatus and method for generation of a noise signal are provided. The apparatus includes a noise synthesizing module and a noise signal transfer module. The noise synthesizing module includes a voltage controlled oscillator, a phase frequency detector, a phase locked loop filter, and a reference generator which form a phase locked loop. An output signal of the reference generator is provided to a first phase-frequency input of the phase-frequency detector, and an output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator is provided to a second input of the phase-frequency detector. An output signal of the phase-frequency detector is provided to an input of the phase locked loop filter, and an output of the phase locked loop filter is provided to a frequency control input of the voltage controlled oscillator. The noise signal transfer module includes a sinusoidal generator and a frequency mixer having a first input which is provided with an output signal of the phase frequency detector and a second input which is provided with an output signal of the sinusoidal.

    • A floating gate electrode configuration and process reduces a space critical dimension between adjacent floating gate electrodes while reducing the consumption of a device isolation layer during etching of a dielectric layer overlying the floating gate electrode.     • Provided are an on-chip balun, a transceiver using the on-chip balun, and a method for fabricating the on-chip balun. The on-chip balun includes: a first metal winding including a port grounded and a port to which an unbalanced signal is input; a second winding outputting an induced current generated by the first metal winding as two signals having about equal intensity and a phase difference of about 180°; and a ground shield positioned between the first and second metal windings and having a symmetric structure so as to generate a symmetric parasitic capacitance between the ground shield and the second metal winding. The ground shield can be inserted between the first and second metal windings to remove an asymmetrical parasitic capacitance so as to reduce a phase imbalance and a gain imbalance of an output value of the second metal winding. As a result, a highly balanced on-chip balun can be fabricated.
