摘要： Systems, methods, software, and combinations thereof for evaluating entropy in a cryptography system are described. In some aspects, sample values are produced by an entropy source system. A typicality can be determined for each of the sample values. A grading is determined for preselected distributions based on the typicalities of the sample values. A subset of the preselected distributions are selected based on the gradings. An entropy of the entropy source system is calculated based on the subset of the plurality of distributions.

摘要： A sender and a receiver includes first and second arrays of coupled oscillators, respectively, that are substantially identically constructed so as to exhibit substantially the same dynamical response to excitation. A chaotic waveform generated at the sender is transmitted to the receiver, which generates a second chaotic waveform, and compares the received waveform with the generated second waveform. If the first and second waveforms match the sender is an authorized sender. An integrated circuit includes an array of coupled oscillators that in combination generate a waveform in response to at least one excitation signal. The array of coupled oscillators represents, in response to application of the excitation signals, a multi-dimensional security key that is shared between the sender of the waveform and the receiver of the waveform.

摘要： Disclosed is a novel circuit able to generate any logic combination possible as a function of the input logic signals. The circuit is described as a 2 input logistic map circuit but may be expanded to 3 or more inputs as required. Further disclosed is a universal logic array with variable circuit topology. A metallization layer and/or a via interconnection between cells in the array elements produce a circuit topology that implements a Boolean function and/or chaotic function and/or a logic function. The novel circuit provides a circuit topology for secure applications with no obvious physical correspondence between control signal values and input to output mapping. Further disclosed is a network which has a power signature independent of input signal state and output transition. This provides a very useful circuit to protect data from decryption from power signature analysis in secure applications.
