    • Determination about presence/absence of alcohol in the body is made accurately.A frequency dynamic information processing means 610 which obtains a tendency of time-series fluctuation regarding a frequency of a pulse wave of a back portion of a person detected by an air pack and an alcohol-drinking determining means 650 which determines an alcohol-drinking state when a tendency of a time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency obtained by the frequency dynamic information processing means 610 is separated from a tendency of time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency at a non-drinking state are provided. Since determination about whether or not a person is in an alcohol-drinking state is made according to comparison with time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency at a non-drinking time, where the determination is made using not only frequency analysis of the frequency of a pulse wave changing according to the physical condition of the person but also the time-series fluctuation thereof, determination about presence/absence of alcohol drinking can be made more accurately as compared with the conventional method.

    • A technology to grasp a state of a human being more accurately is provided. The technology is provided with means for acquiring a time-series waveform of a frequency from a time-series waveform of a biological signal sampled from the upper body of a human being and for further acquiring a time-series waveform of frequency slope and a time-series waveform of frequency fluctuation and for applying frequency analysis to them. In the frequency analysis, a power spectrum of each frequency corresponding to a functional adjustment signal, a fatigue reception signal, and an activity adjustment signal, respectively, determined in advance is acquired. Then, a state of a human being is determined from a time-series change of each power spectrum. The fatigue reception signal indicates a degree of progress of fatigue in a usual active state and thus, by comparing it with degrees of predominance of the functional adjustment signal and the activity adjustment signal as their distribution rates, a state of a human being (relaxed state, fatigued state, state in which sympathetic nerve is predominant, a state in which parasympathetic nerve is predominant and the like) can be determined more accurately.

    • To achieve further weight reduction and thinning of a seat structure. A configuration in which a side frame cover 212 composed of a laminated body 1 provided with a planar member made of cloth and planar members made of synthetic resin laminated on both sides of the planar member made of cloth via adhesive agent and formed in a predetermined shape is joined to a side frame base body 211 composed of a metal member is obtained. Therefore, the thickness of the metal member used can be reduced by an amount corresponding to a strength the laminated body compensates for, which results in achievement of further weight reduction from a conventional structural member composed of only metal members that are used at the same site. Further, when an impact force is applied, the impact force can be consumed as a force that causes delamination of the laminated body from the metal member at a portion where they are joined via the adhesive agent.

    • A state change of a person is captured with timing closer to consciousness of the person. A frequency slope waveform of a time series signal of a pulse wave of a body of a person detected by an air pack is obtained by a frequency slope time-series analyzing and a computing device and a frequency fluctuation time-series waveform is obtained by a frequency fluctuation time-series analyzing and computing device. By comparing changes of two waveforms with each other in a waveform determining device, a state change of a person can be captured with timing closer to consciousness of the person. A sleep-onset point can be specified clearly based upon the case where a fluctuation waveform steep gradient portion indicating a steep gradient change emerges in the frequency fluctuation waveform, and amplitude and a base line position of the frequency fluctuation waveform or the frequency slope waveform are in predetermined ranges. Further, when a mean slope line of the fluctuation waveform steep gradient portion is approximately parallel to a mean slope line of the slope waveform steep gradient portion in the frequency slope waveform before emergence of the fluctuation waveform steep gradient portion, a sleepiness waveform is determined, so that a sleepiness state leading to sleep onset can be detected.

    • A seat in which a cushioning member has a high following ability to a human body motion and which can efficiently damp a vibration inputted from the outside is provided. The seat is constituted to use a torsion bar 112 and to support a cushioning member of a seat cushion section 150 by a parallel link mechanism having a first link plate 113 pivotally supported by the torsion bar 112, a second link plate 116 disposed in correspondence with the first link plate 113, and a connection link plate 117 connecting the first link plate 113 and the second link plate 116, and operational directions of the first link plate 113 and the second link plate 116 are set to almost coincide with a vertical direction along a surface of a seat back section. Thus, a rotational motion following a human body motion generated by an external vibration input is performed, so that a relative motion between a human body and the cushioning member is small and a resonance peak is lowered, whereby a vibration absorption characteristic can be improved.
