In a sequential shooting mode for sequentially acquiring images using the CCD, during the imaging operation by the CCD ranging integration by the range finder/photosensor 217 is carried out using subject light flux that has been reflected by the movable mirror member.

When there is a postulated MISFET including a postulated substrate having a channel region with the impurity concentration C and made of a material identical to the substrate and an insulating film made solely of SiON formed on the channel region, said impurity concentration C of channel region is set so that a maximum value of mobility of electrons in said channel region is higher than a maximum value of mobility of electrons in the postulated channel region. Thus, the power supply voltage can be reduced and the power consumption can be reduced.

For the arc tube, an ultraviolet radiation emitting lamp that provides a wavelength equal to or longer than 253.7 nm is employed, and phosphor, composed of calcium halophosphate phosphor and three wavelength phosphors, is applied to the inner surface of the glass glove. Exciting this phosphor by ultraviolet radiation provided from the arc tube causes visible radiation to be emitted.

摘要： An EP output voltage to be outputted during a period of EP polarity is set so that a welding current becomes equal to or lower than a critical current level, and an EN output voltage to be outputted during a period of EN polarity is set at a level lower than the EP output voltage. This makes it possible to substantially equalize a wire melting rate in the period of EN polarity and that in the period of EP polarity with each other. Even at such a short arc length as causing frequent short circuiting, gas-shielded AC arc welding making use of a consumable wire can be still performed stably so that high wire melting rate, shallow penetration, convex weld reinforcement and the like, which are characteristic features of AC welding, can each be set selectively at a desired level or in a desired shape depending on the application.
