    • The present invention discloses a 3D image capture device and a symmetric prism array for the same. The symmetric prism array comprises a plurality of right triangle prisms, wherein the longer legs of the right triangle prisms are arranged along an identical line on the incident plane, and wherein the right triangle prisms are left-right symmetric with respect to a central symmetry line, and wherein the normals of the hypotenuses of the right triangle prisms diverge from the central symmetry line. The symmetric prism array that captures light from two different directions is arranged in front of the lens of the 3D image capture device, whereby the 3D image capture device can capture images from two different directions simultaneously. After the image processing by the 3D image capture device, 3D images are presented.

    • This disclosure provides systems, apparatus, and methods for switching a portion of a power amplifier on and off during different modes of operation. In one aspect, a control circuit can include separate switches to provide bias currents to different portions of a power amplifier. The control circuit can include another switch to electrically connect outputs of the separate switches in a first mode of operation (for example, a high power mode) and electrically isolate the outputs of the separate switches in a second mode of operation (for example, a low power mode). In some implementations, a circuit element, such as a field effect transistor or a diode, can turn off one of the separate switches in the second mode. Alternatively or additionally, another circuit element, such as a field effect transistor or a diode, can prevent a power amplifier portion from turning on in the second mode.

    • It is determined whether a mobile user device is within transmission range of one or hidden networks. A list of known networks may be accessed, the list including broadcast and hidden networks. For the hidden networks, the network connection component may instruct a network interface to actively probe for the hidden networks. If the response is received for a communication corresponding to a particular network, then it may be considered that the mobile user interface is within transmission range of the hidden network. If auto-connection logic is activated, a preference order may be applied to select which of the detected broadcasts and/or hidden networks to connect. A user interface displays broadcast and hidden networks determined to be within transmission range of the mobile user device. The user device also displays hidden networks for which it has not yet been attempted to determine whether the hidden networks are in range.
