摘要： An ultra-wideband shorted dipole antenna includes a coaxial cable line and first and second open-loop radiating metal plates with substantially the same shape. The coaxial cable line has a central conducting wire and an outer grounder sheath. The first and second open-loop radiating metal plates are symmetrically disposed on two sides of the antenna to form two arms of the antenna and are electrically connected to each other. Each of the first and second open-loop radiating metal plates has a signal feeding point electrically connected to the central conducting wire or the outer grounder sheath of the coaxial cable line.

The predefined distance can be adjusted to improve the impedance matching of lower resonant mode, which can be further combined with the upper resonant mode to achieve a broad bandwidth covering the complete spectrum of digital TV channels (470-862 MHz).

The resonant frequencies of the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion are different to radiate/receive wireless signals in two frequencies respectively. 摘要： A planar monopole antenna is provided. The planar monopole antenna comprises a ground plate, a radiating metal plate, and a multi-branch feeding metal plate. The multi-branch feeding metal plate is formed between the ground plate and the radiating metal plate, and has a single feeding point thereon. The radiating metal plate and the multi-branch feeding metal plate together can also be fabricated from a single metal plate by using a line-cutting or stamping technique, or formed on a same dielectric substrate by using a printing or etching technique. Thus, the planar monopole antenna is easy to construct at a low cost.
