    • A friction clutch wherein the distance between a clutch center member on a driven shaft side and a pressure plate, between which an alternate arrangement of clutch friction plates on a driving shaft side and clutch plates on the driven shaft side is disposed, is increased or decreased to disconnect or connect transmission of power between the driving shaft side and the driven shaft side. The driven shaft is constructed so that the clutch center member and the pressure plate are disposed for relative displacement in a direction of rotation. The friction clutch includes a conversion mechanism for converting a relative displacement in the direction of rotation caused by a countertorque inputted to the friction clutch into a relative displacement in a direction of an axis of rotation to increase the distance between the clutch center member and the pressure plate.

    • A device for lining up parts having different shapes of upper and lower surfaces thereof and which are transported from a part feeder to a further transporting device located beneath the part feeder, includes running path conveyor with one end arranged adjacent to the part feeder, and a lining-up conveyor for transporting the parts from the running path conveyor to the further transporting device which is positioned lower than the running path conveyor. The lining-up conveyor includes two spaced rotatable rollers located, respectively, in vicinity of the another end of the running path conveyor and the further transporting device, a belt wound between the two spaced rotatable rollers and forming thereby a slop surface. The slop surface has thereon a member for catching protrudent parts formed on one of the upper and lower surfaces of the parts to thereby retain the parts on the slope surfaces. A drive is provided for driving the belt in a direction opposite to a descending direction of the belt. A running part extends along the slope surface below a lower run of the belt for receiving parts turned over by the belt.

    • A single-lens reflex camera is provided with a data recording device which comprises a member carrying data to be photographed, a data illuminating optical system, means for directing and focussing data carrying light onto a film and an externally operable light path changing member. The data carrying member carries at least two groups of data positioned in respectively relative horizontal and vertical directions. The data illuminating optical system illuminates similar selected sets of data from the two groups and the light path changing member blocks the light from the selected data set oriented in an undesired direction while allowing the passage of light from the other desirably oriented data set alone to be focussed on the film for data recording. A mechanism is provided for selecting the selected group orientation in response to the camera orientation.

    • A centralized monitoring system for gas leakage in which a plurality of remote terminal units are connected by a loop line and each remote terminal units is further connected to one or a plurality of gas leakage detectors which produce analog signals representing the degree of gas concentration. Each remote terminal unit converts the analog signals from the gas leakage detectors into digitally coded block data and then transmit the block data together with an address code in time division fashion to a central monitoring station also connected to the loop line for processing the block data to provide display of the status of the gas concentration at the central station.
