摘要： A method for synchronizing counters in a wireless terminal device with those of an administrative device. With each increment of the frame counter in a wireless terminal device, the wireless device minislot counter advances by an amount equal to the number of minislots per frame. Likewise, with each increment of the frame counter, the wireless device's timestamp counter is incremented by the number of timestamps per frame. This continues until the counters at the wireless device are within one frame of the administrative device's counters. The minislot counter is then incremented. With each increment of the minislot counter, the timestamp counter is incremented by an amount equal to the number of timestamps per minislot. This continues until the wireless devices counters are within a minislot of the administrative device's counters. The timestamp counter is then incremented until the wireless device's counters match those of the administrative device.

摘要： Systems and methods for pulse stretching architectures for phase alignment of multi-frequency clocks for high speed data acquisitions are disclosed. A high speed data acquisition system includes a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver includes a multi-frequency clock generator that generates a plurality of clock signals, a pattern check module that detects a test pattern received from the transmitter and outputs a stretch command signal, and a stretch pulse generator that receives the stretch command signal and provides a stretch pulse signal that aligns the phases of the plurality of clock signals generated by the multi-frequency clock generator. Methods for initializing and shifting multi-phase clock signals to optimize error performance of a high speed data acquisition system are also provided.

摘要： A system and method is provided for supplying power over a home phone line network in a manner that is interoperable with other voice and data services operating on the same network. The system includes a power source coupled to the home phone line network. The power source includes an AC signal generator that generates an AC signal at a selected frequency. The power source also includes a band pass filter for removing unwanted harmonics from the AC signal, thereby generating a filtered AC signal for powering one or more devices on the home phone line network. One or more devices attached to the home phone line network, such as a telephone adapter or telephone, receives the filtered AC signal. Each device comprises a second band pass filter and an AC/DC converter. The second band pass filter passes the filtered AC signal to the AC/DC converter and prevents the introduction of undesired harmonics onto the home phone line network from the AC/DC converter. The AC/DC converter converts the filtered AC signal to a DC signal used for powering the device.

摘要： An improved dither generation circuit and method for digital audio circuits uses a high-pass filter to reduce the energy contained in the audio band of the dither signal. The resulting dither signal is applied to the circuit in its main feedback loop and is effective to prevent idle tones. Because of its spectrally shaped characteristic this dither signal introduces less noise into the audio band of interest and thereby improves the overall signal-to-noise ratio of the audio circuit. In an embodiment, the dither signal is generated using pseudo-random numbers that are then interpreted as 2's complement numbers.

If a processor overheats beyond a critical temperature, a temperature monitor receives the thermal trip signal, and turns off an enable signal to a voltage control module that control power to the processors.
