    • A heat dissipation assembly includes a heat sink (100), a fan (200) and a fan holder (300). The heat sink includes a plurality of fins (110) and defines a groove (122) in the fins at a base end thereof. The holder includes a bracket (310). The fan is secured to a first main side of the bracket. A locating flange (352) is formed adjoining an edge of a second main side opposite to the first main side of the bracket. A pair of locking flanges (362) is formed adjoining opposite edges of the second main side of the bracket, disposed at opposite sides of the locating flange. The locating and locking flanges are received in the groove of the heat sink and abuttingly engaged with an inner defined at the heat sink in the groove. The base end of the heat sink is received between the bracket and the flanges.

    • A heat dissipation device includes a first heat sink (10), a second heat sink (20) and at least one heat pipe (30). The first heat sink includes a first base (12) and a plurality of fins (14). The second heat sink includes a second base (22) and a plurality of fins (24). The second heat sink is located above and faced to the first heat sink. At least one fin (15) of the first heat sink forms a bifurcated portion (152) at an upper section thereof. A corresponding fin (25) of the second heat sink is fixed to the bifurcated portion of the bifurcated fin via soldering process. The heat pipe interconnects the first base and the second base.

    • A fan holder (10) of the present invention includes a rectangular base (11). The base includes a first surface (12) and a second surface (13) opposite to the first surface and has an opening (14) defined in a center thereof. Two clamping arms (16) extend perpendicularly from opposite side edges of the first surface of the base, the arms having hooks (17) formed inwardly at ends thereof for sandwiching the fan (20) therebetween. Two clamping tabs (18) extend perpendicularly from opposite side edges of the second surface of the base in directions away from the clamping arms. Each clamping tab has a hook (19) formed outwardly at an end thereof. The fan holder is firmly secured to the heat sink (30), with the clamping tabs supported on two protrusions (35) formed at two fins (34) of the heat sink and the hooks of the tabs engaged with the heat sink.

    • A heat-dissipating fin assembly (1) includes a plurality of individual fin plates (12) arranged side by side. Each fin plate includes a main body (14). First and second flanges (16, 18) extend perpendicularly from opposite edges of the main body of each fin plate. A pair of spaced first bridge-shaped tabs (20) extends perpendicularly from the first flange toward the second flange. A pair of spaced second bridge-shaped tabs (24) extends perpendicularly from the second flange toward the first flange. Projections (28) are stamped from the main body opposing to the first and second bridge-shaped tabs. The tabs of each fin plate are interlocked with the projections of an adjacent fin plate. In this manner, all the fin plates are assembled together. The heat-dissipating fin assembly is thus formed.

    • A heat dissipation assembly includes a printed circuit board (70) with a heat-generating device (74) mounted thereon, a heat sink (60) mounted on the heat-generating device for dissipating heat therefrom, a retaining device (1) and a locating member (50). The retaining device includes a pair of spaced pressing portions (14) pressing on the heat sink, and a pair of pivot portions (34) pivotally engaged with the pressing portions respectively. The locating member includes a baseplate (52) located at an underside of the printed circuit board, and four pins (54) extending from the baseplate. The pins pass through the printed circuit board and the heat sink. Two of the pins are engaged by the pressing portions, and the other two pins are engaged by the pivot portions when the pivot portions are pivotally moved toward the printed circuit board.
