    • A device for identifying an arrangement of an AC power supply. The device includes first and second voltage detecting circuits and a comparison logic circuit. The first voltage detecting circuit, coupled to ground and hot lines of the AC power supply, receives a first input signal from the hot line and detects the voltage level thereof to generate a first detect signal. The second voltage detecting circuit, coupled to ground and neutral lines of the AC power supply, receives a second input signal from the neutral line and detects the voltage level thereof to generate a second detect signal. The comparison logic circuit, coupled to the first and second voltage detecting circuits, generates first and second identification signals according to the first and second detect signals, indicating the arrangement of the AC power supply.

    • An exemplary dual power supply system includes a first sensor connected to a first power supply, a second sensor connected to a second power supply, a selection switch, a control circuit, and a relay switch. Each of the output terminals of the first sensor, the second sensor, and the selection switch are connected to a corresponding input terminal of the control circuit. The first and the second power supplies are connected to an electronic device via the relay switch. A control terminal of the relay switch is coupled to an output terminal of the control circuit for selectively coupling the first or the second power supply to the electronic device according to a control signal generated by the control circuit.

    • A zero-crossing point detection circuit includes a hot line input, a neutral line input, a first zero-crossing point output, and a first optical coupler. The first optical coupler includes a first light-emitting diode (LED) and a first optical transistor.     • An indicating circuit for indicating network status includes a signal generating unit configured for being set in a kernel board, and an indicator circuit configured for being set in a device board. The signal-generating unit includes a logic circuit with two input terminals and an output terminal, a network IC with two output pins connected to the two input terminals of the logic circuit respectively for sending status signals to the logic circuit, and a micro control unit (MCU) for transmitting a network transmitting speed signal from the network IC. The indicator circuit has two input terminals, one is connected to the MCU of the signal-generating unit to receive the network transmitting speed signal and the other is connected to the output terminal of the logic circuit to receive a status signal for indicating the network status.

    • An identifying apparatus for an arrangement of an alternating current (AC) power supply includes a detecting circuit and a control circuit. The AC power supply includes a hot line and a neutral line. The detecting circuit is electrically coupled to the hot line and the neutral line of the AC power supply. The AC power supply supplies power to an electronic device via the control circuit. The detecting circuit detects connection status of the hot line and the neutral line of the AC power supply and generates a detection signal to the control circuit. If the hot line and the neutral line are swapped, the control circuit prevents the AC power supply from supplying power to the electronic device.

    • An exemplary power control circuit includes a voltage divider, a switching circuit, and a detecting circuit. The voltage divider receives power from a first power supply which is connected to a microprocessor. The switching circuit is connected between a second power supply and the microprocessor.     • A signal monitoring system (10) includes: four sensors (11, 12, 13, 14), a multiplexer (20), a signal converting circuit (30), and a monitor chip (40). The multiplexer is electrically connected to the sensors for receiving the signals generated by the sensors. The multiplexer includes two selecting ports (22, 23) for selecting one of the sensors to communicate with the multiplexer, and a data bus (21) for transmitting the signals generated by the selected sensor. The signal converting circuit includes an ADC (31) electrically connected to the multiplexer for converting analog signals output therefrom to digital signals, and an MCU (32) electrically connected to the ADC and the multiplexer. The MCU includes a digital port (321) electrically connected to the monitor chip for outputting digital signals thereto, and a timer (322) electrically connected to the monitor chip for outputting pulse signals thereto. The monitor chip is for processing the digital signals or pulse signals. A related signal monitoring method is also disclosed.
