摘要： A method of providing a range of flavors to an orally-receivable or ingestible product, the method including adding at least one compound, including salts thereof, of the formula: wherein R1 may be H, OH, O(CH2)2OH, OCH2OCH3 or R2 may be selected from a range of 5- and 6-membered heterocyclic rings, and wherein R3 may be H or OH. The compounds give rise to a wide range of flavors, and some are useful as sweetness enhancers, this allowing sweetener content to be reduced while maintaining sweetness. Also disclosed are orally-receivable or ingestible products including the compounds.

The composite includes a fibrous insulation layer, at least one inorganic heat absorbing layer disposed on one side of the fibrous insulation layer, and at least one superinsulation layer disposed on at least one side of the composite adjacent the heat absorbing layer or the fibrous insulation layer. The composite may further include a scrim layer comprising a high temperature resistant, flexible, woven or non-woven scrim or scrim and high temperature resistant material disposed around the multilayer thermal insulation composite partially or substantially totally encapsulating the composite. The composite is lightweight and flexible, exhibits reduced heat transfer to the cold-face, with improved thermal insulation capability.

摘要： The invention concerns a process for the preparation of a hardening accelerator composition by reaction of a water-soluble calcium compound with a water-soluble silicate compound and a process for the preparation of a hardening accelerator composition by reaction of a calcium compound with a silicon dioxide containing component under alkaline conditions, in both cases the reaction of the water-soluble calcium compound with the water-soluble silicate compound being carried out in the presence of an aqueous solution which contains a water-soluble comb polymer suitable as a plasticizer for hydraulic binders. The invention concerns also a composition of calcium silicate hydrate and comb polymer, its use as hardening accelerator and for the reduction of the permeability of hardened compositions.

摘要： A cover plate system for a gap (15) between two structural members (10, 20) is provided. The system includes an elongated cover (30) that extends across the gap (15) from a first structural member (10) to a second, spaced-apart structural member (20). The cover plate system further includes damped spring anchors (40) for engaging the cover plate (30) to an underlying structural member (10) and dampers (50, 60) for absorbing energy imparted to the cover plate (30) by vehicular traffic. The cover plate system minimizes the strain energy that is absorbed by the cover plate (30), which results in less cover plate slapping and bouncing during operation.
