摘要： A reel-type retractor for a vehicle safety belt having the feature that a spring-biased light-weight ratchet wheel, rotatable within limits with respect to a ratchet wheel serving as a flange for the reel, is biased with its teeth maintained slightly in advance of those of the flange. This light-weight rotatable auxiliary ratchet wheel prevents the pawl from striking the tip of the teeth of the flange and rebounding, to thereby skip teeth. In such a situation, the pawl strikes the advanced tooth of the auxiliary ratchet wheel causing it to give way against its bias. As a result, the pawl will not rebound, but engage the first tooth presented.

摘要： A breakage lever assembly and assembly control for a winder has an electromagnet connected in circuit with an electronic yarn clearer for withdrawing the breakage lever from contact with an advancing strand of yarn when the clearer detects that the yarn is advancing normally. 摘要： A conventional traverse mechanism distributes the strand uniformly on the takeup reel as the latter is driven, and the shaft which drives the traverse actuates a switch periodically as the shaft rotates. The switch is associated with a current source and means for storing an electrical charge, so that each actuation of the switch causes the storing means to be electrically charged and thereby maintain a relay energized during the time intervals between actuations of the switch. If the traverse ceases to operate for any reason, the switch remains unactuated and thus allows the electrical charge in the storing means to decrease to the point where the relay is deenergized, thereby operating an alarm device and/or stopping the motor which drives the takeup reel.
