摘要： The present invention is directed to a digital image printer which incorporates a jogging system for providing an inexpensive printer for improving color saturation when imaging from a digital display which has monochromatic pixels. The device includes a printer having a housing that encloses, in a common cavity thereof, an arrangement including a digital area array display, a plurality of lenses, and an image plane. The digital area array display, the plurality of lenses, and the image plane are spaced along an optical axis extending from the digital area array display through the plurality of lenses, and toward the image plane such that a digital image provided by the display can be brought into focus onto the imaging plane by the plurality of lenses. One of the plurality of lenses is a transposable lens, the transposable lens capable of being transposed out of the optical axis during the operation of the printer, to increase the perceived resolution of the digital image focused onto the imaging plane.

The marking method comprises: preparing a marking object; converging, into the marking object, a laser beam having a wave length range so chosen that the laser beam can transmit through a material forming the marking object, and then effecting a multiple photon absorption; and moving a converging position of the laser beam, in a manner such that an area, whose refractive index is changed due to the multiple photon absorption, can form a diffraction pattern capable of diffracting a visible light.

摘要： A thermal transfer media printer is disclosed. In one embodiment, the printer selectively programs RFID transponders, and then embeds them into conventional on-demand printed media between the adhesive layer and the release liner. Selective configuration of each printed media sample by addition of value-adding elements may be performed independently for each media sample, under software control during processing of each media sample format print control program. An add-on mechanism is disclosed that can be operatively attached to a conventional media printer. This allows RFID transponder labels to be selectively applied at precise locations on the printed surface of on-demand printed media in connection with existing printers.
