摘要： An improved poster frame and display holder for replaceable posters and similar advertising material is disclosed. The sides of the frame include sets of interconnected, and preferably pivotably engaged, extruded metal, molded plastic, or other front and back frame members. A spring member biases the front and back members together for releasably holding a poster or similar display. Interlocking portions of, or attachments to, the front or back members substantially prevent relative longitudinal movement therebetween, while still allowing relative pivotal movement therebetween.

摘要： The picture frame assembly includes a frame of injection molded plastic, such as polyethylene, polypropylene or the like, or a laminate of injection molded plastic and film, or aluminum. The frame defines a viewing window which may be covered by a sheet of transparent glass or plastic in the frame. A backboard is used in the frame behind the window, which backboard includes an outer frame-supporting perimeter and an openable, hinged, generally central portion. When closed, the central portion also supports the frame. Preferably, the backboard comprises foldable material such as paperboard, cardboard, stiff cloth or paper, or the like, with the hinged thereof being a fold line at the base of the openable portion, the latter being defined by a cut line separating it from the perimeter. A finger hole may be provided to aid in moving the openable portion. A mask is disposed between the backboard and sheet of glass or plastic and may be a separate sheet with one or more picture openings and a masking perimeter blocking view of the finger hole, cut line and fold line. Alternatively, the mask may be silk screened on the inner surface of the glass or plastic sheet and serve the same purpose. Support inserts may be secured to the back of the frame over the backboard and optionally releasably hold a central portion closed.

The calendar frame receives a calendar sheet and comprises a calendar cover configured for substantially covering the calendar sheet. A writing surface is provided the calender cover which is adapted for erasably receiving a writing ink thereon. Magnetic calendar support means are attached to the calendar cover for magnetically attaching the calendar cover to the freezer door and for supporting the calendar sheet therebetween such that the calendar sheet is visible through the transparent portion of the calender cover. Erasable ink writings may be made on the calendar cover to correspond to date blocks on the calendar sheet, thereby allowing the same calendar sheet to be continuously reused.

摘要： The invention relates to a frame assembly wherein the frame and viewing area are integrally formed of clear plastic or plexiglass eliminating the need for a separate glass pane. The front frame area is provided with a roughened surface to reduce visibility therethrough while the inner margin is slightly bevelled to accentuate the center viewing area. The back of the frame assembly is provided with a recess for receiving a plastic backing plate having two-way tape on each side. The backing plate, with the picture or document attached to one side, is inserted into the recess on the back of the frame assembly. After the backing plate and picture are firmly inserted into the recess a seal is formed around the periphery of the backing plate to prevent moisture or foreign matter from entering. Subsequent removal of the second peel-off tape exposes a second adhesive coating on the outer surface of the backing plate to permit the frame assembly to be attached to any desired surface.
